The pre-qualification questionnaire replacing the old PQQ.
A Selection Questionnaire (SQ) is the pre-qualification document UK public buyers use to assess supplier eligibility and capability before inviting bids. Replaced the older "PQQ" terminology in 2016. The SQ covers grounds for mandatory and discretionary exclusion (e.g. previous insolvency, conviction history, tax compliance) plus capability questions (turnover, insurance, track record, technical competence). Most buyers now use the standard SQ template from the Crown Commercial Service Procurement Policy Note PPN 03/24. Failed SQ = no invitation to bid, so getting this right matters as much as the bid itself.
Paste the ITT, BidWriter drafts every response against the buyer's evaluation criteria. Free plan covers 3 bids/month.
