Suppliers will be expected to demonstrate strong implementation and data migration capability, alignment with NHS Wales Digital Architecture principles, robust cyber security and information governance arrangements, and a commitment to innovation, service transformation and long-term scalability. The solution will support a broad range of community services, including Health Visiting, School Nursing, Children's Community Nursing, Safeguarding and Community Nursing services, with the potential for future expansion. NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) All-Wales Laundry Service (AWLS), is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the replacement of the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and associated software controlling the Continuous Batch Washer (CBW) at Llansamlet Laundry Production Unit, Swansea. The facility processes approximately 35,000 linen items per day, with the CBW playing a critical role in maintaining operational capacity and service continuity. The successful contractor will be required to undertake a full survey and mapping of existing panel I/O and wiring configurations, supply and install a replacement PLC, provide compatible software interfaces, and ensure continued operation of the existing machine and control programmes. The project must also include full integration with associated press PLCs and sorting systems, commissioning of the completed installation, and comprehensive training for on-site personnel. All works must be completed outside normal production hours to ensure no disruption to laundry operations. The Authority requires the complete delivery, installation, commissioning, training, and acceptance of the works by 28 February 2027, with all associated invoicing completed by 31 March 2027. Contractors must demonstrate relevant technical capability and experience in industrial automation, PLC systems, and operationally critical production environments.

NWSSP on behalf of WAST requires suitably qualified and accredited C1 driver training providers to deliver training and testing services to a variable cohort of learners. Training will be required for approximately 73 students and must be completed by 31st March 2027. As the learners are located across Wales, the contract will be awarded to a maximum of four suppliers to ensure students have access to a provider that is geographically convenient. Providers must be capable of delivering flexible training packages tailored to individual learner needs. This includes practical driver training, theory support where required, and the arrangement and facilitation of driving tests. Providers will be expected to demonstrate consistently high-quality service delivery, together with the ability to support learners with varying levels of driving experience and differing support requirements. The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) requires an advanced automated haematology analysis system to support blood donor assessment, blood component quality monitoring, research and innovation activities. The proposed solution will be required to provide automated full blood count (FBC) analysis, 5-part white cell differential capability and integrated reticulocyte analysis on the primary analyser. Of particular interest are systems capable of generating the data required to support emerging donor health assessment methodologies, including FlowScore calculation and reticulated haemoglobin analysis for the early detection of iron deficiency in blood donors. The requirement is includes advanced analytical capabilities that support the unique operational needs of a blood establishment. These include fluorescence platelet counting with high accuracy at low platelet concentrations, reticulated platelet measurement, low-level white cell enumeration suitable for blood component quality monitoring, and the ability to perform blood component testing without the need for separate instrumentation. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate how their platforms support routine blood component quality control programmes through dedicated blood bank functionality and provide evidence of successful implementation within blood services, blood centres or comparable blood establishments. WBS is particularly interested in solutions that are supported by robust External Quality Assessment (EQA/EQAS) programmes and can demonstrate meaningful peer group benchmarking through sufficient participant numbers using the same analyser platform and methodology. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate compliance with applicable medical device regulations, support quality and regulatory requirements through a mature quality management system and provide resilient service and maintenance arrangements that minimise downtime and ensure continuity of critical testing services.

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) and Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), collectively the South West Wales region (the Region), seek to appoint service providers to undertake Integrated Pest Management services across the respective health boards’ sites. The contract will support a diverse estate portfolio, including acute hospitals, community hospitals, mental health units, community clinics, kitchens, waste compounds, external grounds, plant rooms, and other high risk or specialist areas. Preventative and reactive cover will be required, with sites classified based on risk.
