This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) UK2 Notice is issued for research and engagement purposes. We are seeking input from contractors who deliver lift servicing and maintenance services to help shape our future procurement strategy. The intended scope may include: The planned preventative maintenance and responsive repair of passenger lifts and domestic stair lifts across a diverse property portfolio, including residential blocks, sheltered housing, offices, and community facilities. The contract will cover properties located in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, and South Yorkshire. The services will include statutory testing, 24/7/365 emergency call-out response, safety inspections, component replacement (up to defined thresholds), and compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and other relevant legislation. Plumlife is a "profit-for-purpose" organisation that focuses on affordable homeownership, property sales, marketing, lettings, and facilities management. As well as selling hundreds of properties a year, Plumlife manages over 6,000 homes and many communal locations too - building and supporting great communities is at the heart of what we do. Through the eventual tender exercise Plumlife will develop an approved panel of Interior Designers who can bring a refreshing and complimentary touch to our show homes throughout the North West. Following provision of specific project briefs and an issued budget, designers will design and install show homes for new-build Plumlife developments where requested. Great Places seeks to develop a Customer mobile application to complement and extend the capabilities of the existing Customer Portal. This application will serve as a new digital channel for customers. It will enable customers to manage their housing-related services more conveniently from their mobile devices, including rent payments, repair requests and accessing documents. The eventual contract will cover the delivery of core self-service functionalities including: secure customer authentication; ability to view and update personal details and preferences; access to rent statements and arrears; raising, tracking and managing repair requests with appointment booking; submitting and updating Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) data; accessing documents from the document management system; secure two-way messaging and reminders; reporting anti-social behaviour and environmental issues; and providing feedback and survey responses. The solution must integrate in real-time with our existing systems, comply with accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG), and meet security and data protection requirements. The partner will be expected to provide implementation, integration, testing, training, and post go-live support services, with a roadmap for future enhancements to extend functionality beyond the MVP.
