C~urb, part of the Link Group, are seeking to appoint a framework of three contractors to undertake pest control and environmental services at various locations in east, west and southern Scotland. The types of work within the Contract Area consist pest control, rubbish removal, cleaning works, graffiti removal, mould treatment, waste chute attendance, needles/sharp sweeps & removal, temporary security shutters etc. all as described in the Schedule of Rates and Pricing Document. Works will be carried out in occupied properties, void properties and common areas.

Supply, Testing and Maintenance of Garage Equipment
The proposed contract will establish a Contract for the Supply, Testing and Maintenance of Garage Equipment across the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service’s (SFRS) four Asset Resource Centres located in Glasgow (Cambuslang), Dundee, Inverness, and Newbridge.
The purchase is essential to ensuring the safety, reliability and operational readiness of SFRS’s fleet of approximately 1,600 emergency and support vehicles, which include fire appliances, rapid response units, platforms, and specialist rescue vehicles. Maintaining these vehicles to legislative and manufacturer standards is mission critical for emergency response capability.
The requirement is highly critical, as improper maintenance or calibration of workshop equipment directly affects SFRS’s ability to service front line vehicles and therefore impacts emergency service delivery.
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland will have the ability to utilise this contract, subject to their internal governance and approval processes.

Winter Maintenance Services at University Hospital Wishaw
NHS Lanarkshire wish to put in place a contract for the provision of managed Winter Maintenance Services at University Wishaw Hospital. Services required via the managed service contract will include gritting, salting and snow clearance, based on local weather monitoring and forecasting. The contract agreement will consist of Gritting, Salting and Snow Clearance.
The University of Edinburgh’s Accommodation, Catering and Events (ACE) is seeking contractors for cleaning services to a range of student accommodation. This will include full lease end cleans, with the main periods of peak being May through to September and also a flexible resource for weekly cleans, which are unable to be covered in house.
There is also a requirement to support commercial cleaning, including hotels and quick turnaround cleans following overnight stays.
The nature of the requirement can lead to extreme periods of peak and a need for flexibility in the pool of resources available across all areas. To support this and attract sufficient competition for all requirements, the University is proposing a lotted framework. Proposed lots are;
Lot 1: Lease End Cleaning (Including Specialist Cleaning) – Covers all planned and reactive lease end cleans and allows for specialist cleaning (Including carpet and Upholstery) Maximum 8 suppliers . Lot 1 will require the cleaning of approximately 5817 rooms from June to September and 4698 in September only.
Lot 2: Commercial Cleaning – Covers all commercial cleaning. Cleaning on this lot includes hotels and therefore has different requirements to Lots 1 and 3, including the standard. Maximum 3 suppliers. The number of rooms to be cleaned will depend on bookings received.
Lot 3: DOMUS Cleaning*: This is a separate lot due to the 24-hour turnaround requirement and the need to service multiple properties across the city within the same day. Properties are typically tenement-style flats (1–7 bedrooms) with a kitchen and shared bathroom(s). Access may involve multiple stair flights, with flats located from ground to fourth floor, and parking is often limited.2 suppliers. Lot 3 will require 885 rooms to be cleaned between May and September (based on 65% occupancy level)
The Highland Council intends to put in place a Framework Agreement with a number of suitably competent, qualified and experienced Contractors to provide Housing & Property Maintenance Services for various service users/requirements for the Inner Moray Firth Area, on an ‘as and when’ required basis.
The Council shall give no guarantee of the volume of work or orders, if any, to be undertaken in relation to the Framework.

East Ayrshire Council have an expansive portfolio of domestic and owner occupied properties. The Council's tenanted properties are maintained primarily by an in-house team. Housing Asset Services require various sub-contractors to support the team in completing both housing related emergency and maintenance works to ensure they are completed within appointment /target dates and thus ensure KPI’s are achieved.
Owner Occupied Properties are currently delivered by sub-contractors and this framework has been developed to ensure this same practice
is continued.

Roofing Maintenance and repairs as required, the successful Contractor shall provide a suitably skilled, experienced and competent workforce to safely deliver reactive roofing maintenance and repair works across the University of Dundee Estates & Campus Services portfolio.

The University of St Andrews seeks to appoint a competent contractor to provide planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, compliance support, and consumables management for water purification units across its estate.
The systems provide purified water (including de ionised water) in support of teaching, research, and operational activities. Continuity of service, water quality assurance, health and safety compliance, and asset reliability are critical.
SPS-02372 Conservation Strategy for Selected SPS Historic Estate Assets
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a suitably qualified multidisciplinary supplier to prepare three (3) Conservation Strategies for selected historic assets across its estate. The commission will cover the following sites: HMP Barlinnie (Glasgow), HMP Castle Huntly (near Dundee) and HMP Perth (Perth). The Conservation Strategies will act as practical, significance-led management tools to support maintenance, repair, operation, adaptation, and future decision-making for historic and listed buildings.
The work will include (but is not limited to):
1) Review of baseline information and historic development
2) Building and fabric surveys
3) Structural appraisal input
4) Significance assessments
5) Condition surveys and defect registers
6) Preparation of marked-up drawings showing significance and risk
7) Development of prioritised action plans (short to long term)
8) Maintenance and operational guidance for estates teams
9) Advice on statutory consent and engagement with Historic Environment Scotland and planning authorities
10) Site-specific conservation policies
The outputs will comprise three Conservation Strategies, one per site, supported by drawings, action plans, and guidance documents.
