PHW is seeking to procure services to increase the functionality and capacity of the portal the Wales Violence Prevention Portal (WVPP) to meet increased need for provision, following a successful period of implementation with more limited data sets. PHW intends to commission further development and ongoing hosting of the WVPP, representing an expansion of the current service to include a range of new data sets and capability for further data ingress, while retaining the existing technical infrastructure and improving stakeholder experience. The works comprise the phased refurbishment and reconfiguration of an existing area within St Helier Hospital to provide a new Bed Store and Medical Records Office. Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services (“CWPS”) is seeking a partner to implement a dedicated Pathology Transport Service which will provide sample, consumable and chemical transport. Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Service (“CWPS”) is a managed network of pathology laboratories hosted by University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW). Laboratory services are provided by laboratories at University Hospital, Coventry; Warwick Hospital, Warwick; and George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton.

The Trust is seeking a suitably experienced roofing contractor to undertake repair and refurbishment works to sections of the existing flat roof serving the A2 Main Building. The works comprise approximately 170m² of roof area, subject to contractor verification and remeasurement on site, including removal of vegetation and debris, preparation and localised repair of the existing roof/deck, and application of an Instaseal Ultra Low VOC roof coating system, including treatment of associated upstands to approximately 150mm and all necessary detailing to provide a complete watertight installation. The works shall also include localised remedial treatment to defective roof substrates; temporary removal and reinstatement of supports/access grilles associated with existing rooftop plant where required; cleaning and unblocking of roof drainage hoppers/outlets; temporary removal and reinstatement of lightning protection; repairs and repointing to parapet walls; redressing and making good existing lead flashings; and associated making good. Approximately 20m² of localised deck repair and 40 linear metres of parapet repairs are to be allowed for, with final quantities verified on site. The scope additionally includes renewal of the identified external roof access/fire escape door with a new one-hour fire-resistant timber doorset, including associated ironmongery, lockset and weather protection, together with preparation and redecoration of existing metal railings and temporary safety provisions where railings require removal to facilitate the works. Access to the roof is anticipated via the existing external fire escape identified within the tender information. The contractor shall undertake all necessary surveys, verify dimensions and existing conditions prior to commencement, and provide all access, temporary works, protection, health and safety measures and infection-control precautions required for working within an operational NHS environment. The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) is seeking to engage with the market regarding the future procurement of an advanced automated haematology analysis system to support blood donor assessment, blood component quality monitoring, research and innovation activities. The proposed solution will be required to provide automated full blood count (FBC) analysis, 5-part white cell differential capability and integrated reticulocyte analysis on the primary analyser. Of particular interest are systems capable of generating the data required to support emerging donor health assessment methodologies, including FlowScore calculation and reticulated haemoglobin analysis for the early detection of iron deficiency in blood donors. The future requirement is expected to include advanced analytical capabilities that support the unique operational needs of a blood establishment. These include fluorescence platelet counting with high accuracy at low platelet concentrations, reticulated platelet measurement, low-level white cell enumeration suitable for blood component quality monitoring, and the ability to perform blood component testing without the need for separate instrumentation. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate how their platforms support routine blood component quality control programmes through dedicated blood bank functionality and provide evidence of successful implementation within blood services, blood centres or comparable blood establishments.
