The fifth generation Southern Construction Framework (SCF-5) currently in place is due to expire 1st May 2027. Hampshire County Council and Devon County Council (the Authorities) are together re-procuring the next generation of the Southern Construction Framework. As with previous generations, this framework will predominantly support contracting authorities with construction delivery across the South East, South West and London regions. However, the new SCF-6 framework will also be open to all Public Sector Bodies in England should they wish to use it. Applicable Public Sector Bodies will be Contracting Authorities as defined under the Procurement Act 2023. Developed in collaboration over the past 20 years, SCF is overseen by a Joint Working Agreement between Devon and Hampshire County Councils. During the 5th generation of SCF, the arrangements surpassed £10bn of delivery across the Public Estate in the South of England. In that time, SCF has supported over 850 public sector clients, including local authorities, central government departments, universities, emergency services and many others. SCF’s portfolio ranges from modest school extensions and internal upgrades to major leisure centres, civic buildings, healthcare improvements, and advanced science and research facilities. SCF6 will operate for all projects and will be split into geographic and value-based lots. The previous generation had a framework cap of £4.5bn with an anticipated workload of £1.92bn over the 4 years it is set to operate. Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work. This framework covers the design and construction of cycle trails across the Forestry England estate, this will include the concept and detail design, building and installation of entirely new cycle trails or reworking on longer sections of existing trail sections.

The scope of works comprises the provision of all necessary labour, plant and equipment to undertake pile cropping activities as required across LTC - Kent Roads. The works will include the safe and controlled cropping of piles to the required cut-off levels in accordance with project requirements, specifications and relevant health and safety standards. The North York Moors National Park Authority has undertaken a number of significant improvements at Danby Lodge in recent years as part of a wider strategy to enhance the site as a flagship visitor destination and support the Authority's second statutory purpose of promoting opportunities for the understanding and enjoyment of the National Park. To support these improvements and accommodate increasing visitor demand, the Authority is seeking to improve the existing overflow car park through the installation of a reinforced hardstanding surface capable of year-round use. The proposal will provide approximately 60 parking spaces within the footprint of the existing overflow parking area, which has been used for many years during periods of high visitor demand and to support events hosted at Danby Lodge. The development will utilise a permeable cellular reinforcement system with a stone-filled finish, creating a durable, weather-resistant surface whilst retaining a natural appearance appropriate to its National Park setting. The design has been developed to minimise visual impact and protect surrounding environmental interests. Surface water will continue to be managed through the existing drainage infrastructure, with runoff directed into the French drain network installed as part of previous site improvement works. The permeable nature of the proposed surfacing will assist with drainage and reduce ground disturbance associated with the current grassed surface. The proposed works have also been designed to avoid any impact on the existing ground source heating infrastructure located beneath the site. The reinforced surface will be constructed above the buried ground source pipe network, ensuring the continued operation and protection of this renewable energy system. Blackpool Council is looking to appoint a Supplier for the delivery of 2 x 7-a-side 3G Football Pitches, 1 x Multi Use Games Area, 2 x Padel Courts and associated landscaping. The site is adjacent to Blackpool Football Club, off Seasiders Way, Blackpool. The scheme is at RIBA Stage 3, and Blackpool Council will engage a Lead Consultant who will continue to be employed by Blackpool Council throughout the duration of the works through to completion. A planning application was submitted in April 2026, and a decision is due to be confirmed at the beginning of September 2026. Great Places Housing Group (GPHG) operates a warehouse Distribution Centre in Trafford Park, Manchester, through which it provides building repairs and other materials to repairs and grounds maintenance operatives and other staff as required. These materials may be distributed out of the warehouse, delivered direct to site, or picked up by operatives from suppliers' premises as appropriate. GPHG is establishing an open framework for the provision of these goods, made up of 11 Lots defined by the category of goods required. GPHG expects that Lots will likely be re-opened at different frequencies (for instance, high volume & high cost lots may be re-opened annually, whilst other may be re-opened bi- or tri- annually).
