TfGM is looking to establish a contract via the Competitive Flexible Procedure, for the refresh of optioneering (ES3 Option Selection Reports) and completion of outline design (ES4 Form A) - referred to as 'Stage 1' and the completion of detailed design (ES5 Form B) and further, construction (ES6-8) - referred to as "Stage Two" of rail station enhancement projects.
These stations will be funded under the Department for Transport's (DfT) and "City Region Sustainable Transport Settlements (CRSTS)". The project involves up to three Access for All solutions for stations within Greater Manchester: Broadbottom, Hall 'ith Wood and Moorside (called AfA T5).
The AfA T5 Projects at Hall'ith Wood, Broadbottom and Moorside comprise of a combination of new wayfinding, lifts, footbridges and ramp improvements to ensure step free access from station entrance to platform with all associated enabling works.
There is also potential for this requirement to cover similar AfA minor enhancements to other stations.

Future Procurement of Customer Contact Platform and Associated Services
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) intends to undertake a future procurement to support the development and delivery of a modern customer contact capability.
This is expected to include the provision of a cloud-based customer contact platform, supporting multiple communication channels, alongside associated implementation and service support.
The future capability is intended to support improved customer experience, operational efficiency, and service delivery across a complex, multi-modal transport environment.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) wishes to implement a DPS from which TfGM will procure Subsidised Services including but not limited to: Network Bus Services, Subsidised Bus Services, Resource Contracts, Demand Response contracts and Metroshuttle contracts. The DPS will provide TfGM with a selection of qualified operators to supply tendered services in areas where there is a social need that is not served by the commercial bus network.
With this being a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) there is no guarantee of any specific amount or type of work being allocated to any of the operators (including the Highest Scoring Supplier).

All contracts awarded under the DPS will follow further competitions which will commence early 2025.
Only qualified operators that are on the DPS will be invited to participate.
