The total value of this contracts initial 6 month term is £38,119.06 (ex vat)\r The total value of this contracts initial 6 month term is £45,742.87 (inc vat)\r There are optional extensions available, pricing subject to mutual agreement\r \r The contract notes:\r Option to extend by a further period or periods of up to 3 months. Any extension shall be subject to funding and approvals and the parties agreeing any necessary amendments, which shall not be deemed a material change.

This is a flexible framework, procured under the light touch regime. The framework is open throughout it's life for suppliers of care homes within a specified radios of the BANES Boundary to join. The flexible framework will be used to purchase individual and block contracts from registered care home for adults which fall into the following specialisms: a. Residential & Nursing within 3 miles of B&NES Border b. Dementia within 3 miles of B&NES Border c. Discharge to Assess & Intermediate Care Funding within 3 miles of B&NES Border d. Learning Disability, Autism, Physical, Cognitive impairment (acquired brain injury), and Sensory Impairment within 9 miles of B&NES Border The Council is limiting the application process for homes which fall within the above radius of BANES. In order to be successful in getting onto the framework, your organisation will be required to evidence the conditions of participation detailed in the Invitation to Tender. The Council will be closing & re-opening the framework for evaluation on the following dates: 23rd October 2026 - 12:00pm - Midday Closing date for initial applications (Round 1) (Specialisms - Residential & Nursing, Dementia, Discharge to Assess). Round 2 Opens. 5th February 2027 - 12:00pm - Midday Closing date for initial applications (Round 2) (Specialisms - Residential & Nursing, Dementia, Discharge to Assess). Round 3 opens - All specialisms to apply. 5th May 2027 12:00pm - Midday Round 3 Closes (All Specialisms). June 2027 Results of Round 3 issued. Round 4 closes & Round 5 opens. The Flexible Framework will not be closed to new entrants. Requests to Participate will be invited periodically. It is anticipated that this will take place at least 6 monthly but may be more frequent at the Council's discretion. As and when the Flexible Framework is re-opened to new entrants a message will be issued through Pro-Contract advising registered organisations that a new "Acceptance Round" has been released. The system will create a new acceptance round with a revised deadline date. Once organisations have been accepted onto the Flexible Framework, they do not need to concern themselves with a new acceptance rounds.

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor led team to test, investigate, appraise and develop a range of deliverable options for the replacement of the Pulteney Radial Gate on the river Avon in the centre of Bath. A range of options are being considered, including 1) a Hydro-Station 2a) Extend the existing Horseshoe Weir 2b) Create a Stepped Weir within the existing channel 3) Infill the existing channel to create new public realm 4a) Own & Operate the Gate, 4b) Do Minimum to the Asset. Each option will need to be assessed against relevant access, logistics and construction constraints. The appointment will include the review and validation of existing project information; coordination and execution of intrusive and investigative survey workstreams; assessment of site access, interfaces, constraints and stakeholder considerations; and comparative appraisal of the options and associated logistics scenarios. The appointed contractor will be expected to provide advice on buildability, temporary works, programme, cost, risk, Principal Designer/CDM matters and whole-life implications. The commission is intended to establish a well evidenced technical, commercial and construction basis for the project, in order to support the Outline Business Case at P3M Stage 2. This commission is separate to any future decision to progress to detailed design, statutory approvals or main works procurement. The output will be a series of in-depth evidenced based appraisal reports with a final composite report and recommendation to support Outline Business Case decision-making and any future route-to-market strategy for the Main Works.

Bath & North East Somerset Council ("the Council") is undertaking an Early Market Engagement exercise in advance of the reprocurement of its Highway Term Maintenance Contract (TMC) in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, which is anticipated to commence in April 2029. The purpose of this engagement is to inform the Council's approach to the scope, structure and packaging of the future contract, test market appetite and capacity, understand the commercial and operational implications of potential service delivery models and ensure the future arrangements are attractive to the market, being deliverable and capable of providing value for money. The Council currently delivers a comprehensive highways service through a term maintenance arrangement covering routine and reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, surfacing works, small improvement schemes, drainage, structures and associated highway assets.

Early market engagement with the children's residential market Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by Somerset Council to undertake a procurement procedure.

For the purpose of this model the term 'intermediate care' is used to describe services in the community that provide short term period of stabilisation, assessment, and reablement with the view to maximising a person's independence and, where possible, keep them at home. The Pathway 2 model is supported within a Nursing Home setting. Intermediate care services can either: a) provide support to people who are medically optimised following an acute episode of care: or b) provide support to people in the community who are in danger of needing an acute episode of care if an intermediate health or reablement intervention is not provided. This is referred to in this document as 'diversion', as it diverts people away from needing an acute hospital.

This will support clean and inclusive growth by stimulating commercial regeneration and creating a sustainable living environment. It will re-energise the town centre as it forms a new leisure destination with easy access to the town centre and the adjacent commercial leisure quarter of Northgate. Positioned alongside the Northgate complex, it will stimulate waterside business potential as well as maximising community benefit through the offer of residential moorings. Finally, a new walking and cycling route will be created around the Dock which is emerging as central connecting hub linking communities in and around the town centre. The Authority wishes to engage with potential suppliers with expertise in the successful delivery of similar works and provide an overview of the Authority's proposed approach and procurement process. The form of contract to be used will be the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract for this work.

The existing swing bridge, which is a fairly modern structure, will be replaced by a new swing bridge which will connect to the active travel route and facilitate pedestrian and cycle access along the perimeter route. The Authority wishes to engage with potential suppliers with expertise in the successful delivery of similar works and provide an overview of the Authority's proposed approach and procurement process. The form of contract to be used will be the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract for this work.

An NHS Health Check is a free health assessment offered to help prevent serious cardiovascular conditions by spotting risks early. For the purpose of this local service, those eligible are between 40 and 74 years old without already diagnosed long term cardiovascular health conditions, and either registered with a Somerset GP or living in Somerset. The service may be offered to staff or patients meeting this criterion. The aim of this service is to reduce access barriers for those with severe mental illnesses by combining the NHS HC opportunity with other treatment access. This may be extended to other cohorts like those accessing bariatric services as the service develops. The service will need to be run to the standard protocol for NHS Health Checks service including measurement of pulse rate, blood pressure and POCT blood cholesterol. It will enable detection of risk factors for hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, kidney dysfunction, obesity and heart arrythmias which would be referred to the patient's GP to consider formal diagnosis. It will also include lifestyle support for alcohol use, smoking, healthy weight and physical exercise.

The Council is looking to establish a flexible framework, for the provision of homecare to people within the Bath & North East Somerset Region. This will include long term social care and short term care to support hospital discharge and admission avoidance to people in their own homes. As of October 2027, we anticipate the provision of home care to be an estimated, 8,000 hours per week, across all funding streams and that this will grow in line with population growth and change over time.
