Leicestershire County Council (as lead authority and on behalf of Rutland County Council District Council) is responsible for commissioning in the administrative areas of Leicestershire and Rutland for the provision of Individual Placement & Support (Substance Use) in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations 2024 and the Procurement Act 2023. The service will be available to adults (aged 18 and over) receiving structured treatment for drugs and/or alcohol within Leicestershire and Rutland’s Integrated Substance Use Treatment Service. Eligible individuals will be those who are out of work or at risk from losing their employment and are entitled to work in the United Kingdom. The aim is to deliver a fully utilised IPS provision across Leicestershire & Rutland, which adheres to the IPS approach and meets the needs of individuals in treatment, including consideration of their treatment and recovery journey, their individual preferences for work and the personalised support they might need. The Provider will also need to have consideration of the rurality of the area and the barriers to accessing support and employment that may create. The purpose is to support those individuals to find and sustain meaningful paid work. IPS should also be person centred, offer pre-employment support and guidance, as well as in-work support to ensure long-term job retention. If future funding is agreed by central government, the Councils anticipate the total contract value (for 4 years) to be approximately up to £975,000. Hire requests are received from service areas across the Authority and are required for various reasons including owned fleet off the road due to long terms repairs, in order to provide resilience in the fleet due to reliability issues (such as minibuses) and increased demand from service areas. The Authority require a contract with suppliers who are able to supply the whole range of vehicles within the lot tendered for that are used by the Authority. The estimated value given for each lot is simply the total contract value divided into 12 equal lots. In order to provide more opportunities for SME suppliers, rather than a single supplier, the Authority has created different lots categorised by vehicle type. These hires can be either short term e.g. weeks or for a longer period e.g. months. This could result in an increase or a decrease in requirements. As a result of Local Government Reform the contract may require novation to any new local authority organisation once created.

Leicestershire County Council is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of asbestos removal and abatement works across its property portfolio, including but not limited to schools, offices, libraries, depots, operational buildings, residential properties and other public sector premises. The successful suppliers will be required to provide a 24-hour, 365-day emergency response service, including attendance within two hours of notification where required. Leicestershire County Council manages the commissioning and contracting arrangements for individual packages of residential care for individual people, eligible for social care support, who are residents of Leicestershire. This Provider List is for residential care for adults who have been assessed as eligible under the Care Act 2014 or under the NHS Continuing Health Care (CHC) Framework and who require a residential or nursing care home placement to meet their care needs in Leicestershire. Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council (the Councils) are inviting applications from General Practitioners for the provision of ‘Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Service’ in accordance with ‘The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime (PSR)) Regulations 2023 - Direct Award Process B. The Councils have a requirement for Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Service as part of their wider public health responsibilities. The service is required to deliver the provision, fitting, monitoring, and removal of IUDs, IUSs and SDIs for contraception purposes for women of Leicestershire and Rutland. The service will provide patient choice across the geography of the counties and ensure consistent and timely delivery of long-acting reversible contraception. Service aims are: - improve sexual health outcomes - improve access to long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) to Leicestershire and Rutland residents as part of a range of contraceptive options - to raise awareness of the benefits of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) by providing high quality advice, support and information on the full range of contraception methods to all those on or seeking contraception - to increase knowledge of LARC and mainstream contraception amongst healthcare professionals - to increase knowledge of risks associated with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and refer to appropriate services - to help contribute to a reduction in the rate of unplanned pregnancies, particularly in under 18s. - to enhance professional practice - to enable Providers to be active participants in an integrated multi-disciplinary service to help ensure easy and swift access to advice - to ensure that the availability of post-coital IUD fitting for emergency contraception be more adequately provided as another means of reducing unintended conceptions The service objectives are: - delivery of a user friendly, non-judgemental, client centred and confidential LARC service - be a key partner in the local network of contraceptive and sexual health services to help ensure easy and swift access to advice. This contract is for an initial period of 4 years and shall take effect from 01 April 2025 – 31 March 2029. The Councils may extend this contract beyond the initial term by a further period or periods of up to 24 months (extension periods) to a maximum of 6 years.
