Aster Group is looking to appoint a number of contractors on a Lot by Lot basis for the delivery its roof replacement programme from summer 2025 onwards which may include but is not limited to the replacement of pitched roofs, the replacement of flat roofs, the replacement of fascia's, soffits and rainwater goods and other associated roofing works. It is anticipated that there will be 5 regional lots with a single contractor appointed to undertake each lot. Tenderers may only be permitted to win a maximum of either 1 or 2 regional lots, although this is subject to the engagement associated with this PIN (please see Section VI Complementary information for details on how to complete the questionnaire). The approximate value of each lot is still to be confirmed, however at this point lot total contract values are envisaged to be broadly as follows: Lot 1. Somerset - circa 7000000, Lot 2. Dorset 1 – circa 9000000 Lot 3. Dorset 2 - circa 9000000 Lot 4. Hampshire - circa 9000000, Lot 5. Wiltshire - circa 8000000. It is anticipated that the maximum term of each of the 5 Contracts will be 3.5 years with an initial term of 1.5 years, with the option for a further two 1 year extensions. Details of the Lots and their associated estimated values will be confirmed in the Contract Notice when published with full details of the requirements being set out in the tender documents. Additional information: Aster Group will be publishing a Contract Notice during the summary of 2024 (envisaged Aug/Sept) and are looking to consult with the market to understand how attractive this opportunity is.
