Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works
Earlier notices predate the Procurement Act 2023 (commenced 24 Feb 2025) and therefore don't carry UK1–UK17 codes.
| Period rationale: | The Framework Agreement is anticipated to exceed 48 months in duration. This is due to the commercial and contractual complexity of the Framework Agreement combined with the cost of administrating the procurement for NEPO, Contracting Authorities and Tenderers. |
NEPO is seeking to establish a multi-contractor, multi-lot framework agreement for civil engineering and infrastructure works. It is anticipated that places of the resultant framework agreement will be awarded to a maximum of 6 primary suppliers and up to 4 contingency suppliers for lots 4,5,6,7,8,9 & 11, lots 1, 2 and 3 will be awarded to a maximum of 8 primary suppliers and 4 contingency suppliers and Lot 10 will be awarded to a single supplier. Lots are categorised according to the project value and the geographical location of the project. Suppliers are required to tender in accordance with the criteria as stipulated for each individual lots. Suppliers will be awarded positions on the framework agreement by applying their tendered ranked combined scores for quality and price against the published evaluation criteria. This framework agreement provides a diverse range of civil engineering and/or infrastructure works. This can include individual projects, or programmes of work including: • Capital highway/ infrastructure projects. • Civils construction projects. • Local road improvement / remodelling schemes. • Groundworks and land remediation. • Enabling works. • Drainage works. • Public realm works including paving. • Repair, maintenance or restoration of structures. • Flood and coastal risk management projects. • Structures over or adjacent to significant watercourses. • Civil Engineering in a marine environment including marine structures. • Light rail and associated infrastructure schemes. • Flood resilience schemes. This list is not exhaustive and is intended to provide a general overview of the types of works that may be awarded. Due to the nature of civil engineering and infrastructure there may also be services provided under this framework agreement. All works awarded will be at the discretion of the contracting authority and their internal procedures. The opportunity can be accessed via the Open eTendering system. Suppliers wishing to be considered for this tender must submit tender documents through the Open eTendering System.
