Asset Management are a directorate within Places for London whose primary goal is to generate increased non-fare revenue for Places for London, and TfL, through the leasing of property. This request seeks the appointment of a Contractor to undertake the construction works for the Canning Town retail project to create one new commercial unit in the Canning Town LU station ticket hall. The Contractor would also be the Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations 2015 from supply through to testing and commissioning. The scope of contract includes the build, testing and handover of the retail unit. The principal contractor will transform several operational rooms into a single retail space with a glazed shopfront opening onto the public area within the main ticket hall of Canning Town station. This transformation will not only upgrade the existing services but also create a vibrant retail space.
