Local Authorities have a statutory duty under the Housing Act 1996 Part VII, (as amended by the Homelessness Act 2002) where appropriate, to provide interim emergency temporary accommodation for homeless applicants pending investigations into their application. Local Authorities also have additional statutory powers to provide help and assistance to other categories of people. To set up a 4 year framework agreement for the provision of interim emergency temporary accommodation. This framework is to provide Interim Emergency Temporary Accommodation. Suppliers are able to join this framework at any point during the 4 year period.
Emergency Accommodation for Adults with dependent children o There shall be the need for accessible accommodation with disabled facilities.
Emergency Accommodation for Adults with no dependent children o There shall be the need for accessible accommodation with disabled facilities.
Emergency Accommodation for Higher Risk Adult Singles and Couples o There shall be the need for accessible accommodation with disabled facilities. o Exclusive nomination provision to accommodate ex-offenders or individuals with history which would likely be seen as a higher risk. o There shall be 24 Hours on-site staffing
