The Council wishes to set up a Framework that will provide First Aid Training related courses. There will be one Lot, where the chosen Provider(s) will provide all courses mentioned below: Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work (one day course) First Aid at Work (three-day course) Emergency First Aid at Work (one day course) In addition to the training courses listed above, there will be a requirement for the Provider to include specialist content when required, such as but not limited to: Anaphylaxis management Managing catastrophic bleeding, and Choking rescue techniques in Learning Disabilities settings The training is delivered on an 'as required' basis, and Providers should note there may be a need to deliver multiple courses at different venues across the Council on the same day. Training will be provided in Council premises i.e. libraries, schools, care homes etc. however, depending on course or team needs these may change during the course of the Framework Agreement, but will always remain within Council premises. The Framework Agreement shall be for 3 years with an option to be extended for a further period of up to 12 months. A maximum of 3 providers will be appointed to the Framework.
