NHG is seeking to appoint service providers for cleaning and grounds maintenance across Essex. The procurement will be divided into two cleaning contracts-covering North and South Essex respectively-and two grounds maintenance contracts for the same regions. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to: general cleaning, window cleaning, grounds maintenance (including gardening), bulk waste collection, supply of consumables, and playground maintenance. Contract 1: Essex (North) Cleaning Chelmsford, Colchester, Epping, Harlow £240,000 (Estimated Per annum value) £1.6m (Estimated value for 3-years plus 1+1+1+1 year extension [7 years total]) Contract 2: Essex (South) Cleaning Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Thurrock, Southend on Sea £272,000 (Estimated Per annum value) £1.9m (Estimated value for 3-years plus 1+1+1+1 year extension [7 years total]) Contract 3: Essex (North) Ground Maintenance Chelmsford, Colchester, Epping, Harlow £183,000 (Estimated Per annum value) £1.3m (Estimated value for 3-years plus 1+1+1+1 year extension [7 years total]) Contract 4: Essex (South) Grounds Maintenance Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford, Thurrock, Southend on Sea £312,000 (Estimated Per annum value) £2.1m (Estimated value for 3-years plus 1+1+1+1 year extension [7 years total]) The 4 contracts (Essex North and Essex South Cleaning & Grounds Maintenance) will be awarded separately to encourage market competition, promote SME participation, and reduce supply chain risks where applicable. There are no limitations on the number of lots / contracts a bidder may be awarded. Suppliers are permitted to bid for multiple lots, and if they achieve the highest score in each respective lot, they may be awarded all corresponding contracts.
