Phase 1A (immediate fire door works): the scope of this initial phase of works is to remove the existing doors, linings and architraves, and replace them with FD 30 fire and smoke door sets. The replacement doors are in the main circulation corridor which links the keys spaces and provide escape routes between the spaces as well as access to the toilets. This first phase includes strip out and disposal of existing doors, making good/widening of existing structural openings, new fire rated partition to stair ceiling at basement, new doors and ironmongery, finishes where required.
