The City of Liverpool College has an ambitious strategic plan based around turning disadvantage to advantage and an impact across the Liverpool City Region in education, skills, and employment. Our wider leadership team (WLT) are critical to the College's culture, aspiration and success as part of this long-term strategy and the development of a diverse and inclusive workforce through ethical leadership and change management. The wider leadership team need to have the relevant skills, mindset and understanding of the initiatives within the delivery plan to effectively plan, implement and evaluate their effectiveness, as well as manage any move to a state of business as usual. There is also a degree of speculation within the delivery plan; managers will also need to have the confidence to lead complex projects, work with ambiguity, call the outcomes and ultimately exercise sufficient systems thinking to move any successful initiative from a state which requires constant management or repeated intervention to 'the way we do things here.' The City of Liverpool have decided against pre engagement, due to a previous tender for similar training that was carried out in 2022. The College therefore understands the needs and requirements, so does not require pre-engagement.
