National Highways has identified a challenge whereby an increasing number of Power Platform solutions have been developed without formalised technical oversight, governance, or centralised ownership. As a result, a number of unsupported solutions have been developed across the estate via a combination of end users and engaged partners on a 'Business Case by Business Case' basis. In many cases, these solutions do not have formal support arrangements or adequate technical oversight to ensure consistency in delivery and to minimise Operational Risk resulting from a lack of centralised governance. In response, the centrally owned 'Central Power Service' has been developed to provide a rapid delivery vehicle for the development and support of Microsoft Power and Dynamics solutions through the following approved Service Offerings: · Consult - Provides support for requirements, design, estimates and any information required for a Business Case · Deliver - Provides end to end delivery capability for solution build and transition into live support · Support - Provides the capability to transition an existing solution into Support · Maintain - Provides the capability to enhance or retire an existing supported solution
