UK Public Procurement Report: Q1 2026

Data compiled from five official UK procurement portals: Contracts Finder, Find a Tender Service, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, and eTendersNI. Only award notices marked as "complete" with a disclosed contract value are included in aggregate spend figures; notices without value are counted in contract totals where relevant but excluded from monetary sums.

Supplier figures are derived from the awards_jsonfield present in OCDS (Open Contracting Data Standard) feeds. Not all awards disclose named suppliers publicly, so supplier counts and rankings should be interpreted as "named winners only." Framework call-offs are sometimes reported without individual supplier attribution.

Threshold classification uses the current Procurement Act 2023 services threshold of £138,760. Year-on-year comparison uses the matching quarter in the previous year, noting that early 2025 data may reflect the transition period before the Procurement Act 2023 came into force on 24 February 2025.

Framework share is approximated from contract title and description text matching against "framework," "G-Cloud," or "DPS"; this under-counts call-offs where the parent framework isn't named in the title.
