This contract is for the supply, installation, servicing and maintenance of stairlifts and through floor lifts across North Yorkshire under the Disabled Facilities Grant scheme. The British Geological Survey (BGS), acting on behalf of the European Consortium for Ocean Research Drilling (ECORD), requires a marine coring capability and suitable vessel to operate offshore southern North Sea, Netherlands or Denmark, for a scientific drilling and coring campaign for a period of 30 days (estimated) between April and May 2027. This scientific coring project seeks to extend our understanding of Earth’s dynamics during the last 50 ice ages and the warmer periods between them. The North Sea Basin is an area that was heavily impacted by these ice age cycles as climate fluctuated between fully glacial to warmer-than-present conditions. The continuous sediment accumulation found in this marine environment should be thought of as a ‘tape recorder’ that contain an almost complete record of glacial-interglacial episodes, providing insight on Europe’s past climate, ecology, and large river systems over the last ~3.3 million years. Relatively little is known about how Europe evolved during repeated ice age cycles. In this expedition, we aim to collect geological samples to gain insight into the baseline dynamics and thresholds for depositional and ecosystem regime shifts, as well as biodiversity turnover driven by rapid climate changes. This research will help us better understand the environmental responses to modern-day warming.

The anticipated scope for DNWP0073 is indicatively only. The Contractor requires support to the Inside Controlled Area (In-SEP) Decommissioning Operations. This will take the form of the provision of resource, up to 30 Full Time Equivalent (FTE), with an appropriate ratio of blue:white collar resources to be determined by the Subcontractor to best meet the Initial Decommissioning (ID) activities required by the Contractor. A current contract is in place until 31st March 2027 to prove the concept and develop an initial operating capability. This EOI relates to the longer-term works anticipated to commence thereafter, with an estimated duration of 24 months. The tasks undertaken will be broad and varied, and will be located in existing In-SEP and any future In-SEP buildings. Broadly, the Subcontractor will be required to provide Operational Support to the ID capability, build upon the previously developed ID capability, drive future improvements and assist in building scope of ID workload. Specific work and details will be decided by the ID In-SEP, Delivery Board and locally on plant at Plant Operations Control Centres (POCCs). Initial works will include waste removal, waste packaging and despatch and size reduction. Deplanting, involving the removal, lifting, size reduction and transport of redundant plant will also be required. Works will grow and develop in complexity as the capability matures, subject to providing ongoing Value for Money. (VFM) Tasks which meet the definition of 'Construction' (CDM 2015 Part 1 Regulation 2) should now be anticipated and appropriate management and supervision arrangements incorporated. This Contract Opporutnity represents a long-term commitment by the Contractor to further develop the Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) workforce of the Subcontractor to undertake works in uniquely hazardous facilities requiring prior knowledge and experience. The Subcontractor will be responsible for the design of all temporary works, this is anticipated to primarily be access/scaffolding but may also include design of lifting plans. The Subcontractor will ensure a safe sequence is adhered to for all activities. This may require the use of Contractor's structural/mechanical engineer on an ad-hoc basis. The Subcontractor shall integrate and co-ordinate its design with the following design of the Contractor and Others. The Subcontractor shall submit all temporary works plans to the Project Manager for acceptance prior to erection. The Subcontractor will be responsible for ensuring an appropriate level of checking and approval for their designs. The review period for the Project Manager to review the Review Documents is up to 2 weeks (10 working days). No temporary works will be erected until the Review Documentation has been authorised by the Project Manager. The Council has a statutory obligation to manage and deliver waste disposal services for the residents and businesses of Wolverhampton by means of either kerbside collections or the use of the cities Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRCs). The City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced provider(s) to maintain environmental compliance and transparency in end destination disposal and recycling for general waste disposal. To support the council waste teams to deliver green waste, HWRC waste, skips and mixed loads of fly-tipping, directly to compliant providers and that licensed and compliant services are in place for the disposal or the collection of mattresses, persistent organic pollutants (soft furnishings) and hazardous wastes such as chemicals and gas cylinders. The service requirement is split into lots, each of which has a target commencement date of 1 November 2026.

The British High Commission Kigali seeks to procure a qualified maintenance service provider to deliver preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance services for generators, road blockers, stabilisers and solar heaters across the diplomatic estate. The requirement is for a comprehensive maintenance service covering approximately 20 generators, 2 hydraulic road blockers/bollards, 2 stabilisers and 3 solar heaters, including preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, emergency callouts and replacement parts as required. The new contract will be awarded for an initial period of thirty-six (36) months, with an option to extend for a further twelve (12) months subject to satisfactory performance.
