Aston University is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise to inform a future procurement for the provision of Independent Accountant's Reports (IARs) and Grant Assurance Services. Tender for the engagement with learners and delivery of non-accredited Tailored Learning opportunities within Herefordshire, in line with the council's priorities and priority groups. There is the potential for one or more partial awards to be made in limited circumstances. The Hamstead Hall Academy Trust has decided to tender their cleaning services to investigate the financial and qualitative benefits they could be offered through this process. The trust consists of two schools based in the North-West Birmingham area which are: 1) Hamstead Hall Academy, a secondary school with around 1200 pupils. 2) Grestone Academy, a primary school with around 380 pupils. The University of Worcester is seeking to develop an Outdoor Covered Cricket Facility at its Severn Campus. The development shall be in accordance with the ECB’s guidance Covered Outdoor Cricket Facilities - Developing Your Project and Covered Outdoor Cricket Facilities - Design Guide v1.1. The key elements of the University’s proposal are:- • 10 lanes. • Provide opportunities for two indoor matches to be played concurrently. • A facility that is 46m long and 52m wide • Areas between the game zones to be greater than the minimum (hence the wider facility) to allow for improved spectator experience and for wheelchairs to pass • Lane width – Elite level at 4m • Orientation as close to North South as possible – with the bowler coming from the northern end. • Location on the site to be in the southern part of the site. • Storage for bowling machines to be within the covered outdoor facility with suitable protection against frost and damp at the bowlers’ end • Storage, in the form of open units, for players’ bags and equipment at the bowlers’ end outside of the playing area. • Covered facility to be surrounded by anti-climb fencing (same height as that surrounding the University’s all weather pitches) with access gates on the northern and eastern boundaries (exact details tbc) • Soft and hard landscaping to be provided to the perimeter A full scope of services for the appointed contractor will be developed and will be issued as part of the procurement process. Procurement exercise for the provision of a Managed Digital Content Service for University Hospitals Birmingham NHS FT

Birmingham City Council (the "Council") wishes to establish a Flexible Contracting Agreement (FCA) for Birmingham Virtual School (BVS) Enrichment Services in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, applying the provisions for Light Touch Contracts as defined in Section 9 of the Act and Schedule 1 of the Procurement Regulations 2024. These provisions apply to certain social, health, and education services that are subject to more flexible procurement rules due to their direct impact on individuals and communities. The requirement will be conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, using a Competitive Flexible Procedure designed by the Council. The Enrichment FCA will provide a comprehensive range of services designed to enrich the educational experiences and outcomes of looked-after children in Birmingham, as well as children and young people placed by Birmingham City Council in other local authority areas. The programme aims to promote educational achievement, inclusion, participation, and progression, ensuring that individual needs and aspirations are effectively supported. The Enrichment FCA is structured into three lots designed to support young people in care through targeted provision. Lot 1: Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) - Supports young people aged 12–19 with disrupted education, transition challenges, or at risk of NEET. Includes personalised careers advice, programmes, and events. To be awarded to one provider. Lot 2: Short Courses and Qualifications - Supports Year 11–13 learners, especially newly arrived or NEET. The service covers eye and eyesight testing and the supply of appropriate eyewear for display screen equipment users, employees requiring prescription protective eyewear, and corporate drivers, enabling UHB to discharge its statutory duties under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 (as amended) and related legislation. The supplier will operate an online booking and voucher hub, a network of affiliated optometrists across the West Midlands, an employee helpline, and quarterly management information reporting. The contract is for five years with an option to extend for two further twelve-month periods.

The Learning Community Trust is a Multi-Academy trust which spans education for children and young people from the age of 2 years old, through to 16 years old, and up to 25 years old in specialist settings – with an excellent reputation both regionally and nationally. The trust was formed in 2016 and currently consists of two high schools and six primary schools. The trust provides high quality educational experiences and care for just over 3,000 pupils aged 2-18. The school is located in Central Worcester and is a Maintained Primary special needs school with 208 pupils on roll and approximately 170 staff employed. They are a dedicated and enthusiastic team who are committed to providing the best possible education and care for the pupils and developing independence and social awareness to prepare them for productive and successful lives. There are 25 classes and fantastic facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, specialist sensory areas and extensive outdoor learning environments both within the school grounds and attached to individual classes. The school runs in term time, but some support staff work all year round. Currently, the school is cleaned in the mornings prior to opening, with cleaning commencing from 6:00am during term time and on TED days. In addition, the school benefits from approximately four weeks of deep cleaning during holiday periods. Due to the morning cleaning schedule, there is a requirement for some ad hoc cleaning at the start of holiday periods (e.g. bin clearance), along with limited cleans a few times per week in key areas during the main school holidays (Easter, Summer, and Christmas). While the school is open to reviewing cleaning times, if the morning schedule is retained, they would like these ad hoc requirements to be formally incorporated into the contract. The school also hosts a holiday club during certain school holidays, which is currently supported through ad hoc cleaning arrangements.
