NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Laundry Service requires fire stopping remediation works at its Swansea and North Wales Laundry Production Units. The works are required to reinstate fire compartmentation integrity where breaches have been identified through survey activity. The successful contractor will provide all labour, materials, equipment, testing, certification, documentation and warranties necessary to complete the fire stopping works. Works will include sealing service penetrations, linear joints, voids and cavities using appropriately tested and third-party certified systems. Full certification, photographic evidence and fire stopping registers will be required upon completion.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (NWSSP-ProcS), hosted by Velindre NHS Trust, intends to undertake a procurement activity for the provision of Pathology Consumables, Equipment, and Instruments. NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) has an ongoing requirement for the provision of fully managed commercial storage facilities and associated distribution services for medical consumables, primarily pandemic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) resilience stock.

PHW require a supplier to deliver external and internal building refurbishment works, including front and side elevation scaffolding, side render removal, masonry repairs and redecoration, rainwater goods clearance, and front timber window frame repairs and painting, to supply all labour, materials, access equipment, and management. The scope also covers full site safety, waste removal, weekly progress reporting, pre-tender site visits, and the submission of required programs, insurance, and health and safety accreditations.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP), hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, are issuing this Market Engagement Notice to engage with the suppliers to gather feedback on market capabilities and capacity for the provision of managed services to support the operation of a finance, procurement and warehouse management system. The Central Team eBusiness Services (CTeS), within NWSSP, manage and supervise several core national enterprise systems which are used by Health Boards, Trusts, Special Heath Authorities, and Hosted Organisations, in Wales. These systems are collectively known as the FMS Enterprise System and include: - An e-Business Application System, including auxiliary services, which is facilitated through the Oracle eBusiness suite. - A Business Intelligence (BI) reporting system, facilitated through Qlik Sense. - An OCR Intelligent Scanning Management System - A Warehouse Management System - Other BI Reporting Systems The purpose of this market engagement exercise is to gather greater insight into the market’s capacity and capabilities in relation to provision of managed services and NWSSP are specifically seeking engagement from suppliers who are e-Business Suite experts with supply chain capabilities specifically covering warehouse management and who can also support to roll out and further development of discrete manufacturing processes within a regulated environment. The analysis of feedback obtained from this exercise will allow NWSSP to further develop its strategy and refine its service delivery requirements ahead of any potential procurement. The main objectives of this exercise are to: - Assess the level of interest in the marketplace from suppliers who can support the Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS), - Test market capability and capacity, - Validate the proposed scope and service model, - Understand delivery approaches, innovations and commercial models and indicative rates, and - Explore development and innovation in relation to AI and the benefits that may be realised with its deployment through the Oracle eBusiness Suite. The provision of the Oracle EBS is facilitated through existing perpetual licences, and the scope of this engagement exercise does not include migrating the e-Business Application System to a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. This exercise is not a formal procurement process, does not constitute a call for competition and does not commit NHS Wales to any future procurement. However, information gathered through this engagement will help inform the development, scope and future direction of the project. Suppliers can express their interest in this process and request a copy of the Market Engagement Briefing Document, which contains further details on the requirement and engagement process, by contacting Chris Squires ([email protected]). When submitting an expression of interest, suppliers are requested to confirm that they acknowledge and understand that: - the proposed managed service requirement relates specifically to Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) and does not include support for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions; - they have the necessary supply chain capabilities to support the requirements of the service; and - they possess the capability and expertise to support the development of warehouse management systems within discrete manufacturing environments. The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) requires the replacement of three rapid plasma / blast freezer units which are currently used for the rapid freezing of plasma components, including Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP), cryoprecipitate, and Plasma for Medicines (PFM) components. The contract will provide WBS with the capability and business continuity required to manufacture clinical plasma for patients in Wales. It will also support the plasma for medicines programme in Wales as it continues to grow and expand on current plasma volumes produced.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (NWSSP ProcS), hosted by Velindre NHS Trust, invites tenders on behalf of NHS Bodies across Wales for the appointment of suitably qualified suppliers to provide Quality Control Organisms, Lysis Buffer, and Bottled Media (Culture Media) under an All-Wales Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement will have an initial duration from 1st January 2027 to end 31st August 2030, with an option to extend for a further two years, subject to a maximum total duration of five years and eight months. The procurement is divided into three Lots. Bidders may submit tenders for one, two, or all three Lots.

4.1. The requirements of the agreement are as follows: Bangor University (BU) and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) are working in partnership to deliver the North Wales Medical School (NWMS), an established Welsh Government-funded programme designed to increase medical education and training capacity across North Wales. The works comprise of the alterations and adaptations of the existing building to form a new medical training centre. All activities must be planned for a live hospital environment, coordinating outages and access with Estates/ICT, and must comply with site rules, CDM, and applicable NHS W /BCUHB technical standards. The proposed works at Wrexham Medical Institute comprise the upgrade and refurbishment of existing education facilities to improve their functionality and suitability for the delivery of the NWMS programme. The works include: • Upgrade of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) facilities, including new audio-visual equipment and associated software. • Refurbishment of the library space, including the provision of new furniture. • Upgrade of digital signage, branding and wayfinding. • Light refurbishment and upgrade of teaching rooms, including new or upgraded furniture. The works will improve the existing education environment and provide enhanced facilities to support the delivery of medical education and training at WMI. The proposed contract includes the capital purchase of five 1200mm Class II microbiological safety cabinets (MSCs), and the relocation of one existing microbiological safety cabinet. The purchase includes decommission and disposal of existing units, and installation and commission of new units. The scope of the contract includes decontamination, removal, installation and commissioning, with a bulk procurement approach delivering cost efficiencies that would not be achievable through individual purchases.

The provision of Generic Drugs - Injections/Infusions

Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) seeks to commission an organisation to deliver a rolling programme of face-to-face Clinical Assessment Skills (CAS) training for both novice and existing workforce qualified IPs, irrespective of sector of practice. This requirement is split into three lots: Lot 1 - North Wales Lot 2 - South East Wales Lot 3 - South West Wales The commissioned provider will deliver a rolling programme of between 3-4 full days per region CAS sessions per year across 3–4 key clinical areas, with one session per clinical topic delivered in each geographical region. Each session will accommodate up to a maximum of 15 learners with a minimum of 8 learners attending to run a session. HEIW reserve the right to cancel any planned events with less than 8 learners registered, 7-10 days prior to the session date.
