NHS England South East (NHSE) (the Commissioner) is seeking to commission prime-provider led integrated healthcare services at Haslar Immigration Removal Centre (IRC). IRCs provide primary medical services to foreign nationals awaiting decisions on their asylum claims or awaiting deportation following a failed application. Interested providers should have the capacity and capability to provide an outcome focused, integrated and patient centred primary healthcare service, equivalent to that available to the local community, for the IRC. The service will deliver a comprehensive range of services in-house, to include physical health, mental health, substance misuse and dental services; please refer to the service specifications(s) for a full list of services. NHSE will hold a contract with the prime provider, who in turn can directly provide care and/or subcontract care to other specialist providers. Haslar IRC is located in Gosport, Hampshire and is due to have a maximum operational capacity of 600 male residents. The initial operational capacity, over the first three years of the contract, is expected to be 130 residents. Post this term of the contract, there is expected to be an incremental increase in occupancy, as residents are placed there, ramping up to full operational capacity. Kent Community Health NHS Trust (KCHFT) and Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust (KMMH) are publishing this UK2: Preliminary Market Engagement Notice on 15th May 2026 to invite expressions of interest from suppliers to participate in a market engagement exercise relating to the provision of a complete pharmaceutical supply services for both inpatient and community services across the two Trusts. Since 2022, Kent and Medway NHS Mental Health Trust (KMMH) and Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) have collaboratively procured pharmacy services across both organisations. The service is designed to: • Ensure timely, accurate, and reliable dispensing and supply of medicines to meet the needs of patients and services. • Support safe and effective medicines management in line with legal, regulatory, and professional standards. • Enable continuity of care through responsive and flexible supply arrangements, including urgent and out-of-hours provision. • Reduce medicines waste and optimise resource utilisation through stock management, recycling, and redistribution processes. • Support digital transformation through integration with Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) systems. • Provide specialist services, including clozapine dispensing, in alignment with national monitoring requirements and local clinical pathways and the provision of over labelling of medicines. • Contribute to workforce development through the training and support of pre-registration/foundation pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. • Ensure robust financial and clinical governance through accurate data reporting, audit, and management of national medicines alerts. The service will work in partnership with clinical teams to ensure medicines optimisation, improve patient outcomes, and support the evolving needs of mental health and community healthcare services. This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of Thames Valley Integrated Care Board (ICB), (the Commissioner's), intention to commission a Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) service in line with the national service specification, for the Thames Valley geographical area. The PAS service will provide specialist multidisciplinary maternity care for women at increased risk of Placenta Accreta Spectrum, delivered through designated specialist PAS centres operating as part of a regional network arrangement across the South East. The provider for the Thames Valley geographical area will be expected to work collaboratively with providers delivering PAS services across the other South East geographical areas and with local maternity services to ensure safe, effective and coordinated pathways of care. While the service is commissioned primarily to meet the needs of the Thames Valley population, it is recognised that there may be a requirement to accept referrals from outside the geographical area. As the service becomes established, geographical boundaries may be reviewed in partnership with relevant service providers. The contract will be for an initial duration of five years (60 months) with an optional extension of up to two years (2 x 12 months). The approximate expected annual allocation of funding for the Thames Valley geographical area has been based on anticipated patient flow and incidence of complex PAS and is estimated at £283,500 per year, with an anticipated five year total value of £1,417,500. Portsmouth City Council (the 'Council') is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise as part of a strategic review of delivery options in providing residential and nursing care services, mainly within the Portsmouth boundary (PO1 To PO6) but also in the surrounding area, where required. The Councils ambition is to fully embed strengths-based practice approach and values into how we empower and enable older and physically disabled people who need support to live a good life and to maximise their independence. The Council have reviewed current and alternative delivery models with other Local Authorities to explore the commissioning of residential and nursing care. The Council's aim in undertaking this PME exercise is to explore providers views on these delivery options, and to identify current working practices, existing challenges and risks within the market with other Local Authorities that providers are currently and previously providing support services for. The feedback will inform the Council's strategic options and help ensure that any subsequent procurement strategy is optimised to meet resident needs, strategic objectives, statutory obligations and best value duties.
