The Mining Remediation Authority is seeking to establish a Framework for the provision of Mine Entry Inspection services across five geographical Regions. The Framework will support the inspection, recording and reporting of mine entries across Great Britain to help manage public safety and legacy mining risks. Services include planned mine entry inspections, condition observations, identification of hazards and defects, photographic evidence, inspection reporting, programme management and associated stakeholder liaison activities. The Framework will operate for four years from 25 April 2027 to 24 April 2031. There is no guarantee of work, volume or expenditure. Derby Homes is seeking to appoint an approved gas registered provider who can provide out of hours gas service checks for domestic properties where access to complete services has proven difficult. The provider would be required to contact the tenant(s) to carry out the service at the properties where access is difficult. Erewash Borough Council (EBC) have started work on a new Local Plan, which will be drawn up using the new National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) 2026. The Planning Policy team is embarking on an evidence base gathering exercise so that a new Local Plan can be submitted within the next 3 years, in line with Government objectives. EBC are now looking for a contractor to prepare and present a Renewable Energy Study to be used by the Planning Policy team to inform the Local Plan.

This Works Contract is for the construction of a new 2 storey teaching block with additional parking area and associated works, within the school grounds. It is estimated the project will take circa 12 - 18 months to complete. The safety of children, staff, parents and workers are paramount to the Council and as such we will only accept bids from Suppliers with a good safety record and can demonstrate how they will manage the project safely from start to finish. The NHS Health Check programme aims to reduce avoidable premature mortality by early identification and management of cardiovascular risk factors and disease in people aged between 40 and 74 years who have no previous history of CVD disease. In West Northamptonshire, 73 in every 100,000 people die prematurely before the age of 75 from cardiovascular disease. Under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, local authorities have a legal responsibility to commission and monitor a local NHS health check programme. All local authorities must offer an NHS Health Check to 100% of their eligible population every 5 years by inviting 20% of the eligible population each year over the five-year period. In Northamptonshire, between 2024/2025 and 2028/29, 247,499 people are eligible for a NHS Health Check meaning that 49,500 people should be offered a check each year. The Councils aspiration is for 70% of Health Checks offered to be taken up, which equates to around 34,650 checks delivered each year. Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) expect that 66% of health checks offered should be taken up equating to 27,417 checks delivered each year. Derbyshire Constabulary (DC) is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to inform the development of a proposed procurement for Laundry Services at two custody suites located within Derbyshire.   The laundry service is a critical provision required primarily for the effective running of the custody suite facilities.  A lack of correctly laundered custody items is high risk to the day-to-day detention of detainees and impacts on the health, safety and welfare of police officers, detainees and cleaning operatives handling the laundry 24/7. The legal system for processing of a detainee cannot be placed at risk by inadequate laundering services; therefore, the contractor must guarantee delivery of reliable and safe laundering services.   The Contractor must maintain service Standards in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and laundering to HSE guidance standards: https://www.hse.gov.uk/biosafety/blood-borne-viruses/decontamination and must also support the DC in ensuring custody regulations set out in the PACE Code Care are adhered to.   Service times are Monday – Friday, 52 weeks per annum including delivery/collection changes to account for bank holidays.     Items currently originating at custody facilities may include but not be limited to; custody cell blankets, high risk suit top and bottoms and smocks (made of special risk anti-rip material), bath and hand towels, jogging bottoms, sweatshirts and t-shirts. DC also have ad hoc requirements for items such as tunic uniform jacket and trousers, white shirts, tops, trousers, tablecloths, tea towels, some require dry clean, some machine washable.     The successful contractor must have a suitable method of transport to collect and deliver laundry within Derbyshire. The purpose of this engagement is to understand the current market, including supplier capability and capacity, service delivery models, geographical coverage, response times and pricing structures. Feedback from potential suppliers will help inform the scope and specification of the proposed requirement, the most appropriate procurement approach and the commercial arrangements necessary to deliver an effective and value-for-money service. This engagement will also provide an opportunity for DC to identify potential risks, challenges and opportunities within the market before proceeding with any formal procurement process. Derby City Council is undertaking a Soft Market Testing exercise to inform the future procurement of specialist consultancy support for the development of a Waste Strategy and associated procurement and delivery programme for waste disposal services. The Council is seeking feedback from organisations with experience in local authority waste management, strategy development, service transformation and waste procurement. The commission is expected to include a review of current arrangements, development of a long-term Waste Strategy, assessment of future infrastructure and service requirements, procurement planning, and support for the delivery and mobilisation of future contracts. Leicester City Council has recently adopted a new Local Plan which sets out a vision and objectives for Leicester’s growth until 2036. The Plan identifies 28 non-strategic sites for development, to be delivered in the next 10 years, to help meet affordable housing need in the city. To help achieve this, the Council is keen to hear from Registered Providers who would be interested in delivering these sites for 100% affordable housing. We have had this service in place since November 2024 and are now scoping the market to see what has changed since our last market exercise. Lincolnshire County Council manages a substantial and diverse property portfolio consisting of both operational and non-operational assets, including schools, offices, fire stations, libraries, investment properties, land holdings, surplus assets and leasehold interests. The portfolio comprises approximately 850 assets with a total accounting value of around £796.4 million, making it one of the Council's most significant corporate resources and a key component of its balance sheet. The portfolio is subject to a range of statutory valuation and financial reporting requirements, including rolling asset valuations, investment property valuations and IFRS 16 lease accounting valuations. The Council is required to maintain up-to-date property valuations to support statutory financial reporting and ensure compliance with the CIPFA/LASAAC Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the RICS Valuation Standards ("Red Book"). The Council currently operates a five-year rolling valuation programme, under which a minimum of 20% of assets are revalued annually. In addition to cyclical revaluations, the Council may require a range of specialist valuation services to support year-end accounting requirements, including impairment reviews, investment property valuations, component accounting assessments, IFRS 16 lease valuations, reviews of assets held for sale, and ad hoc valuations arising from acquisitions, disposals and changes in asset use. To ensure continued compliance with statutory accounting requirements and to provide sufficient specialist capacity and resilience, the Council intends to outsource the valuation of its property portfolio to an appropriately qualified and experienced provider. The appointed provider will be responsible for delivering valuations and associated reporting in accordance with relevant accounting and professional standards, providing robust and auditable valuation information to support the preparation of the Council's annual Statement of Accounts. The successful provider will work closely with both the Corporate Property and Finance teams to deliver valuation services within prescribed reporting timescales and provide clear supporting information, including asset lives, residual values, land and building apportionments, component valuations, fair value assessments and valuation narratives where required
