North Northamptonshire Council is seeking to procure a Point of Care Testing (POCT) solution to support delivery of the NHS Health Checks programme from 1 April 2027. The requirement includes POCT analysers, consumables, maintenance, repair and replacement arrangements, quality assurance, training, technical support and account management. POCT enables trained NHS Health Checks providers to obtain cholesterol and HbA1c results during the health check appointment, supporting immediate risk assessment, patient discussion and appropriate follow-up. Further review has confirmed that the current screening-based POCT model remains clinically appropriate and proportionate for the NHS Health Checks pathway. The current contract expires on 31st March 2027. The Council's analyser estate is ageing, with a significant proportion of devices expected to require replacement during the new contract period. Contract management concerns have also been identified in relation to asset tracking and external quality control oversight. The proposed procurement will therefore secure a comprehensive and clearly managed POCT contract, reducing fragmentation and strengthening quality assurance, lifecycle management and Council oversight.

University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (“UHN”) wishes to commission full consultant led ENT services to ensure supply meets demand of our local population and that service users are offered free choice of provider that most suits their individual needs at the point of referral.  1.2 The Provider shall deliver a full Consultant-led ENT RTT Pathways service on behalf of UHN with patients being transferred to the provider via the IPT process, encompassing referral management, diagnostics, outpatients’ activity, elective and day case procedures, post operative follow up, discharge and RTT administration and clock management. The provider shall deliver UHN expectations of a high quality, integrated, safe and patient centred pathway.  The service is commissioned to improve access, eliminate long RTT waits and provide a resilient elective capacity whilst maintaining safety, quality and patient experience in line with NHS and GIRFT guidance.   The Provider will be fully accountable for RTT performance for all patients transferred or referred under this contract.   The service is commissioned by both Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (“KGH”) and Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust (“NGH”) under the banner of UHN and is accountable and responsible to the Chief Operating Officer of UHN via the respective Head of Operations or their nominated deputy.   

Leicester City Council's Public Health team is seeking a provider to support the delivery of its integrated lifestyle service, Live Well, by managing the storage, dispensing, and distribution of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), e-cigarettes, and stop smoking medications. The project aims to improve the efficiency, accessibility, and clinical governance of stop smoking support offered to Leicester residents by replacing the current in-house stock management and postal distribution process with a comprehensive outsourced solution. The appointed provider will be responsible for managing stock levels, dispatching NRT and e-cigarette products directly to clients within agreed timescales, and facilitating pharmacist-led prescribing and dispensing of stop smoking medications, including Varenicline, Cytisine, and Bupropion. The service must operate in line with relevant clinical, regulatory, and governance requirements, including NICE guidance, Patient Group Directions (PGDs), GDPR, GPhC standards, and Leicester City Council's Public Health Clinical Governance Framework. The project also requires the provision of a secure, user-friendly digital system to manage orders, appointments, inventory, prescription activity, reporting, and delivery tracking, alongside staff training and ongoing support. The overall objective is to enhance the client experience, reduce delays in accessing treatment, and contribute to Leicester's smokefree ambitions through a safe, efficient, and clinically robust service.

Lot 2 - Clinical Pharmacy Support Services The successful provider will deliver a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service supporting Community Hospitals, Urgent Treatment Centres, Butterfly Hospice, Sexual Health Services and HIV Services. Services will include medicines reconciliation, medicines optimisation, clinical pharmacy review, multidisciplinary team support, prescribing support, medicines governance, audit, education and training, patient counselling, specialist HIV pharmacy support and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Providers will be expected to deploy an appropriately skilled workforce comprising pharmacists, independent prescribers and pharmacy technicians capable of delivering consistent and high-quality pharmaceutical care across multiple sites.

Nottinghamshire County Council is procuring a Framework Agreement for the provision of residential and/or nursing care home services for adults. The Council intends to appoint multiple successful bidders as Providers under the Framework. The Framework will support individuals whose primary support needs include learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, brain injuries and sensory impairments. Services may include standard placements, short breaks, emergency placements, forensic provision and exceptional and highly specialist care arrangements. The service is primarily for adults. The Council may also use the Framework to commission provision for young people aged 16 or 17, provided that the relevant home satisfies all applicable registration, policy and regulatory requirements, including those of the Care Quality Commission and/or Ofsted. For older adults, typically those aged 65 and over, the Council will ordinarily commission residential provision through alternative contracts that the Council has developed specifically for residential care for older adults. It is anticipated that this Framework will only be used for people aged 65 years and over in exceptional circumstances where suitable provision cannot be identified via the alternative contracts. Most placements are expected to be within the seven districts of Nottinghamshire. However, the Council may commission placements outside of Nottinghamshire where required. Bidders are advised that, following the UK Government's publication of the English Devolution White Paper in December 2024, a programme of Local Government Reorganisation ("LGR") is underway which may affect the governance, boundaries and/or legal status of the Council during the term of any Framework or Call-Off Contract entered pursuant to this procurement. As a consequence of LGR, any Framework or Call-Off Contract may be required to be transferred, assigned or novated (in whole or in part) to one or more successor authorities or other public bodies established as part of LGR, in accordance with applicable legislation. The Council intends to establish this Framework for an initial term of 6 years, with the option to extend for up to two further periods of 24 months (6+2+2). The maximum potential duration of the Framework is therefore 10 years. Appointment to the Framework does not guarantee a Provider any volume of placements or minimum level of expenditure. The Council reserves the right, at its discretion, to advertise one or more further opportunities to admit additional Providers to the Framework. No dates have been set for any such opportunities. Any future opportunity will be separately advertised and conducted in accordance with the applicable procurement requirements. Whilst EMAS undertakes the vast majority of journeys via in-house team, there is a need for extra demand in the system to cover NEPTS journeys for the Trust. The intention is to setup a Dynamic Market with separate lots, for taxi providers providing necessary service within that area. This will include transporting of patients to and from hospital for routine appointments, short term adhoc journeys, and other journeys may be required. University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) is commencing a programme of Pre- Market Engagement in relation to the future operation of a new Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) located at Leicester Royal Infirmary (LRI). UHL is currently undertaking a significant programme of investment in its urgent and emergency care estate, including the development of a new purpose-built UTC at Leicester Royal Infirmary. The facility is expected to become operational in late 2027 and will form an important component of the Trust's wider urgent and emergency care strategy. The proposed UTC will provide assessment and treatment for patients presenting with minor illness and injury and will work alongside existing urgent and emergency care services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. As part of our planning process, UHL is currently undertaking an options appraisal to determine the most appropriate operating model for the future service. One of the options under consideration is the engagement of an external provider to support delivery of elements of the service. University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN), which consists of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) and Northampton General Hospital (NGH),  are seeking to engage the market in advance of a forthcoming tender opportunity for the provision of refurbishment works to upgrade an existing data centre.   It is intended that the procurement will cover the design, supply and delivery of refurbishment works to upgrade its secondary data centre known as DC2/P55 at Kettering General Hospital.   The purpose of this early market engagement is to gather insights from potential suppliers to help inform the scope, structure, and approach of the procurement to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation and delivers best value.    To obtain the required level of resilience the DC2/ P55 data centre needs to be brought up to an IT Industry standard Tier 2 data centre. This is to be achieved by addressing the mechanical and engineering infrastructure which provide services to the data centre combined with a review of the overall design / layout of the room and provision of new, standardised racks, cable containment, etc. This is intended to reduce the risk of future outages, ensure the room is running efficiently, has some spare capacity (space, power, cooling, etc.) for future expansion and is able to run as a single entity during the migration of IT equipment / Infrastructure out of the current primary data centre DC1. THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION Fostering Medical Assessments (AH1/AH2) and Medical Advisor Services Leicester City Council is exploring the market to understand the availability and capability of organisations to deliver fostering medical assessments and provide independent medical advice to the Our Fostering Service. We are considering commissioning a provider who can undertake the full fostering medical assessment process, including completion of the Adult Health Report (AH1) and the Medical Advisor Report (AH2), full medical summary and attend fostering panels where required. Traditionally these assessments are completed by General Practitioners (GPs), with a Fostering Medical Advisor reviewing the information and providing advice to the fostering service and fostering panel. Due to increasing challenges in accessing GP capacity, Leicester City Council wishes to understand alternative delivery models that maintain high quality, timely assessments whilst meeting statutory requirements. We are also interested in understanding whether providers would have the capacity to deliver this service across Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire (LLRN) should commissioning partners wish to pursue a collaborative approach. In addition to exploring a single provider model, Leicester City Council is also seeking market views on alternative delivery approaches that could support a collaborative service across Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire (LLRN).
