The Police and Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire is seeking to procure a Uniform, Inventory and Asset Management Solution, including implementation, configuration, data migration, training, support, maintenance and associated professional services. The proposed solution shall support the management, tracking, issuance, return and reporting of uniform, personal protective equipment (PPE), operational equipment, consumable products and other organisational assets across Nottinghamshire Police. The Authority requires a proven Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution capable of supporting inventory management, stock control, asset lifecycle management, self-service functionality, role-based entitlements, workflow approvals, reporting and analytics, barcode and/or QR code tracking, and integration with Authority systems where required. The Authority is willing to consider Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), On-Premise and Hybrid deployment models. The Contract will include implementation, configuration, data migration, testing support, training, support and maintenance services. The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of three (3) years with the option, at the Authority's discretion, to extend for a further three (3) years.

Derbyshire Constabulary (DC) is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) to inform the development of a proposed procurement for Laundry Services at two custody suites located within Derbyshire.   The laundry service is a critical provision required primarily for the effective running of the custody suite facilities.  A lack of correctly laundered custody items is high risk to the day-to-day detention of detainees and impacts on the health, safety and welfare of police officers, detainees and cleaning operatives handling the laundry 24/7. The legal system for processing of a detainee cannot be placed at risk by inadequate laundering services; therefore, the contractor must guarantee delivery of reliable and safe laundering services.   The Contractor must maintain service Standards in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and laundering to HSE guidance standards: https://www.hse.gov.uk/biosafety/blood-borne-viruses/decontamination and must also support the DC in ensuring custody regulations set out in the PACE Code Care are adhered to.   Service times are Monday – Friday, 52 weeks per annum including delivery/collection changes to account for bank holidays.     Items currently originating at custody facilities may include but not be limited to; custody cell blankets, high risk suit top and bottoms and smocks (made of special risk anti-rip material), bath and hand towels, jogging bottoms, sweatshirts and t-shirts. DC also have ad hoc requirements for items such as tunic uniform jacket and trousers, white shirts, tops, trousers, tablecloths, tea towels, some require dry clean, some machine washable.     The successful contractor must have a suitable method of transport to collect and deliver laundry within Derbyshire. The purpose of this engagement is to understand the current market, including supplier capability and capacity, service delivery models, geographical coverage, response times and pricing structures. Feedback from potential suppliers will help inform the scope and specification of the proposed requirement, the most appropriate procurement approach and the commercial arrangements necessary to deliver an effective and value-for-money service. This engagement will also provide an opportunity for DC to identify potential risks, challenges and opportunities within the market before proceeding with any formal procurement process. The PME is for information gathering purposes only and does not constitute a formal invitation to tender or a commitment to proceed with the proposed document.

The proposed Service will be available to all adult survivors of sexual violence aged 18 years and over who reside within Nottingham City or Nottinghamshire, and/or are registered with a GP practice within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board area. This includes individuals who have experienced sexual assault, rape, or sexual abuse, including non-contact offences, whether the abuse occurred recently or in the past, including during childhood. Support will be provided regardless of whether the offence has been reported to the police. Where appropriate, support will also be available to close family members of victims and survivors. Children and young people will continue to be supported through separately commissioned specialist services. The Service aims to lead the delivery of an integrated Adult Sexual Violence Hub and therapeutic support service across Nottinghamshire. Its objective is to empower adult victims and survivors by building resilience, supporting recovery, and helping individuals regain control of their lives following their experiences. Through a tailored and person-centered approach, the Service will enable survivors to move forward with confidence and independence. The Service will achieve this through the provision of a specialist single point of access (Survivor Hub), together with emotional support and evidence-based psychological therapies designed to meet the needs of both recent and non-recent survivors of sexual violence aged 18 years and over.

We have had this service in place since November 2024 and are now scoping the market to see what has changed since our last market exercise. Northamptonshire Police Fire and Crime Commissioner and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Authority are also involved in this Pre Market Engagement exercise. As part of our commitment to reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and preparing for the transition to a predominantly zero-emission fleet as part of the zero-emission vehicle mandate from government, we are seeking to better understand the solutions, technologies, delivery models and innovations currently available within the market. Fleet electrification is expected to involve a programme of works including, but not limited to, electrical capacity assessments, network upgrades, EV charging infrastructure, energy management systems, load balancing solutions, renewable energy integration, battery storage opportunities, software platforms, and ongoing operation and maintenance considerations. Following positive market feedback and strong interest expressed during engagement activities for SCAPE's next generation Construction Works and Services Framework, SCAPE is considering establishing a new framework for the provision of construction works and services within complex environments, including but not limited to the Defence sector, across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. SCAPE will continue to undertake market engagement activities to inform the development of the framework ahead of submitting a Tender Notice. This notice is not an invitation for formal expressions of interest. The purpose of this notice is to provide details on SCAPE's pre-market engagement activities in support of the upcoming procurement of a Defence and Complex Environments Framework for construction works and services. This framework is envisaged to include the following Lots: Lot 1 - Lot capacity of £500m for call-offs between £0 to £15m, UK wide. Lot 2 - Lot capacity of £8bn for call-offs between £10m to £8bn, UK wide. SCAPE currently anticipates establishing a multi-party framework with six (6) suppliers (3 on each Lot).
