In terms of academic outcomes, results are astonishing: end of Key Stage 2 SATs results is amongst the top 1% of schools nationally, with an astonishing 80% of pupils achieving at greater depth in mathematics. We appear in the latest edition of the Good School’s Guide in glowing terms. Thomas Jones was inspected by Ofsted in October 2023. It was awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all categories. This is the third consecutive time this has happened (2006, 2009 and 2023). Until recently, the Head was a National Leader of Education, and in 2016 was awarded an OBE for Services to Education. In December 2025 we were, for a tenth consecutive year, identified by The Sunday Times as one of the UK’s ‘Top Schools’, on this occasion being awarded the accolade of ‘Primary School of the Year’.
