North Somerset Council is seeking a provider to deliver regulated First Aid Training for an initial term of 36 months, extendable up to 60 months subject to annual reviews. The contract will cover a range of accredited training courses delivered annually to both employees and members of the public. These include First Aid at Work, Requalification, Emergency First Aid, Paediatric First Aid, refresher sessions, and a bespoke First Aid for Children and Adults course. All courses must be regulated by recognised awarding bodies (e.g. Ofqual, SQA, or Welsh Government) and, where applicable, provide valid certification.
A training rig based on BN2, DH6 and or S76 aircraft to be situated at St Mary's airport with the appropriate infrastructure to facilitate training with live hot fires
Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is developing an Open Light Touch Framework focusing on the delivery of Statutory and Non-Statutory/ Best Practice Training for its staff and relevant partners within Lincolnshire. This long-term commissioning model will underpin the delivery of training from Summer 2026 and beyond.
The Framework will enable a flexible and efficient approach to commissioning Training Services for multiple Council Directorates, including Children’s Services Quality and Standards Learning and Development Training Programme. It will drive innovation and create opportunities for Suppliers.
The Open Light Touch Framework will be commissioned for a period of 5 years with the possibility of an extension of up to a further 3 years.
The Framework will be separated into Lots as follows:
Lot 1 – Health and Safety/ Fire Safety Training
Lot 2 – Safeguarding Training
Lot 3 – Diplomas and Further Education Training
Lot 4 – Professional Training
Lot 5 – Early Years Training
Lot 6 – Non-Core and/or new and Emerging Requirements
Suppliers can request to join as many of Lots 1-5 as appropriate, which will subsequently gain them automatic entry into Lot 6 (for Training Services that are yet to be established and emerge throughout the term of the Framework).

26018 Bikeability Cycle Training Contract
Bikeability Child Cycle Training has been delivered in Cambridgeshire since 2007. The county is among the top 20 highest performing local authorities with around 6,000 pupils receiving the training per annum, representing approximately 80% of the eligible audience.
Bikeability cycle training equips service users to choose cycling to travel more actively, more safely and more often, thus upholding the Council's following priorities:
- Enable full, healthy lives for all (promoting active and independent living)
- Ensure fairness and opportunity (through the best start for children and young people, and physical access to jobs)
- Support a green and sustainable county
The Bikeability Cycle Training Contract is being developed specifically to deliver the existing Bikeability grant award (2026 - 2029) and fulfil The Authority's grant recipient obligations, including the designated course level allocations.
The Programme objective for training providers in 2026/2027 is:
- Increase participation in, and achieve rider outcomes of, Level 2 Bikeability by the end of primary school (Year 6) to improve road safety, promoting responsible cycling behaviour, and benefitting health and wellbeing.
To enable delivery of the overall objective, further sub-objectives have been outlined:
- Prepare children for Level 2 through Level 1 and Learn to Ride
- Encourage schools to take part in Bikeability Courses
- Encourage participation in the Bikeability programme of under-represented groups

Training Provision to Support Educated Other Than At School (EOTAS)
