First Person Viewer (FPV) small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) element of Project UBIQUITY to deliver scalable, non-energetic FPV training systems for Army training, experimentation and force development.

The Authority has a requirement for the provision of N3 Dauphin emergency simulator training services in support of aircrew training and operational preparedness. The requirement is expected to include the delivery of simulator-based emergency training courses, associated instructor support and related training services. The proposed contract will be a services contract with an initial term of approximately 2 years and 2 months, with options to extend for up to a further 2 years through two separate 12-month option periods. The estimated total value of the contract, including all option periods, is approximately £1.5 million EX VAT The procurement is expected to be conducted under the Procurement Act 2023 via a competitive tendering process.

The Land Training Advisory Capability (LTAC) (formerly Land Training Test & Reference Centre (LTT&RC)) will provide independent testing, analysis and assurance to support confidence in the Army Collective Training Service (ACTS). It will ensure that the Land Warfare Centre (LWC) remains an intelligent customer, able to maintain technical coherence and keep services focused on training outcomes, underpinned by secure information and data. Drawing upon reference architecture, technical standards and a test-bed for evaluating integration compatibility, the LTAC will provide independent support to the acceptance of digital products and provide assurance support that solutions meet the Defence Modelling and Simulation Coherence and Secure by Design principles. The LTAC will maintain the ACTS architecture baseline and act as the architecture custodian, ensuring coherence, traceability and alignment with approved Defence standards. The Authority currently intends to procure this requirement through a competition conducted under the Crown Commercial Service Technology Services 4 (TS4) Framework.

The Salvation Army invites suitably qualified and accredited organisations to tender for the provision of minibus driver training across the UK and Northern Ireland. The Salvation Army operates approximately 52 minibuses, subject to change, which support a diverse range of services and locations. Drivers include officers, employees and volunteers, and passengers may include vulnerable individuals with differing mobility and support needs. The required service will include: • new-driver theory and practical training; • two-yearly refresher training; • accessible-minibus and wheelchair equipment training; • individual and group driver assessments; • passenger safety, safeguarding, first aid and emergency procedures; • certification of competent drivers; • reassessment arrangements where required; and • a live dashboard showing completed and forthcoming training. The successful provider must demonstrate national delivery capacity, recognised accreditation, appropriately qualified instructors, relevant multi-site delivery experience, appropriate insurance, robust safeguarding arrangements and valid Enhanced DBS checks for instructors. The Authority has a requirement to place a contract with a recruitment agency for the provision of specialist instructional and administrative personnel to support the delivery of aeronautical engineering technical training at RAF Cosford, as required on a temporary basis. The Authority will require the successful supplier to provide CVs for suitably qualified personnel on request and they must be able to do so at short notice to meet the dynamic nature of defence training. The contract will have a duration of three years with an option to extend by a further 12 months,

The Royal Naval School of Flight Deck Operations’ (RNSFDO) ability to deliver safe, effective aircraft handling and Flight Deck training is fundamentally dependent on access to modern, representative training aids. Dedicated F-35 Ground Training Aids (GTAs) are essential to ensure training remains current, realistic, and aligned with the aircraft routinely embarked in Royal Navy aviation-capable platforms. The value of realistic, hands-on training is particularly relevant given the significant operational and financial risks associated with aircraft movement on the Flight Deck. The procurement of a purpose-built F-35 Ground Training Aid (GTA) would significantly enhance RNSFDO’s ability to deliver realistic, risk-reduced aircraft handling training. By providing a representative platform that accurately reflects the dimensions, configuration, and handling characteristics of the operational aircraft, personnel would be able to develop and rehearse critical ground movement skills in a controlled environment before working with live assets.

The MEDEVAC capability is defined as a platform fitted for role that can move patients with concurrent support from a clinician from Point of Injury (POI) to Point of Treatment (POT). The Authority will provide a clinician for the aviation MEDEVAC and then conduct a handover/takeover of the patient at the nearest POT landing site to the Contractor provided clinician for the ground MEDEVAC transfer. This is in order to develop and maintain timely hospital transfers of exercising troops, BATUK staff and their dependents. This requirement is enduring whilst permanent staff and dependents are based in BATUK irrespective of training taking place. The requirement is made up of two rotary wing platforms, one covering the Nanyuki area 24/7/365 and the other covering areas for the duration of the exercise 24/7 either in Archers Post Training Areas or Nanyuki dependent on where it is taking place. The service includes ground ambulance transfer complete with trained medical clinicians upon meeting the rotary wing platform in Nairobi or the transfer of patients from Kifaru Barracks in Nairobi to the approved treatment facility. Additionally, the service will respond to any road traffic incidents and transfer casualties from hospital to the designated airport for flight back to the UK if required.
