Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service require the design, installation and commissioning of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage tanks, together with the ongoing supply of LPG fuel.

This procurement process is being advertised and run by First Greater Western limited on its own behalf and on behalf of the successor operator of the rail passenger transport services in respect of Great Western Railway (GWR). That successor operator will be a public sector company, is expected to be a wholly owned subsidiary of DfT OLR Holdings Limited and will be ultimately owned by the Secretary of State for Transport. The date for transfer of the current operations to the successor operator is not yet confirmed. Where the transfer is completed before contract award under this procurement process, the successor operator may elect (but will not be obliged) to carry on with this procurement process in place of GWR, by taking on the role of contracting entity from the date of completion of the transfer (with this notice and all other procurement documents to be interpreted accordingly). Where the transfer is not yet completed by the time of contract award, contractual rights may be included in the contractual arrangements to enable transfer to the successor operator. Bidders should note that this procurement process (if ongoing), or any awarded contract, may be included in a transfer scheme made by the Secretary of State under section 12 of the Railways Act 2005, or the transfer may be effected outside of, or separate from, such a scheme. If transfer takes place before the contract award the successor operator shall assume all the rights of the Client set out in this document. All references to the Client shall be deemed to refer to the successor operator for the purposes of this procurement and the successor operator shall be entitled to continue or terminate this procurement as if it was involved GWR seeks to procure and implement a modern, future-proofed train planning solution that ensures continuity of service delivery and operational safety. Panel Convenor Training - Following the success of the Panel Process Adviser pilot in EPSRC in 2024/5, we are looking for a specialist training partner to provide state of the art training that strengthens our Panel Convenors’ knowledge, confidence, and ability to intervene when needed to ensure fair and objective decision making when convening funding panels. This support will help create a lower pressure panel environment where convenors have the cognitive space and autonomy to act effectively. Scope of Requirement Overview: • This procurement seeks to appoint a supplier to design and deliver training for EPSRC panel convenors, who are EPSRC staff responsible for convening and running peer review panels. The training will support convenors to lead panels effectively, consistently and transparently, in line with EPSRC governance requirements, UKRI’s Principles of Peer Review, and EPSRC’s commitments under its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Action Plans. • The scope of the requirement covers the development, delivery and iterative improvement of training content that builds EPSRC’s internal capability to manage panel processes, mitigate risks of bias, and ultimately further strengthen confidence in funding decision making.

The Authority seeks to commission a specialist stalking service across Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The Service shall address stalking-related harm through assessment, perpetrator intervention, independent victim advocacy, safeguarding, dynamic risk management, professional development, monitoring and system learning. The Service shall operate as part of the wider multi-agency response. It shall complement and strengthen existing police, probation, safeguarding, victim support and protective order arrangements, but it shall not replace statutory agency responsibilities. The Service is intended to support the objectives of the Home Office Domestic Abuse and Stalking Perpetrator Interventions Fund, subject to confirmation of funding. The Service shall contribute to improved victim safety, strengthened perpetrator accountability, earlier intervention, improved multi-agency responses and learning about effective stalking perpetrator intervention. Commissioning rationale: • Create a dedicated referral and intervention pathway for stalking perpetrators. • Improve victim safety through functionally independent advocacy and safety planning. • Strengthen multi-agency risk management, information sharing and escalation. • Improve professional confidence, referral quality and stalking identification. • Generate reliable learning about implementation, engagement, outcomes and future commissioning requirements. Strategic Outcomes: The Provider shall be accountable for delivery of activities and outputs within its control. Some system-level impacts depend on police, probation, safeguarding, courts, health, local authorities and other agencies and cannot be attributed solely to the Provider. For contract management and evaluation purposes, outcomes shall be understood at three levels: • Provider-Controlled Deliverables: activities and outputs directly within the Provider’s control, including referrals processed, assessments completed, advocacy offers made, interventions delivered, risk reviews undertaken, safeguarding escalations made, reports submitted and training delivered. • Provider-Influenced Outcomes: changes to which the Provider is expected to make an evidence-informed contribution, including improved victim safety, increased perpetrator accountability, reduced dynamic risk indicators, improved engagement, improved referral quality and stronger multi-agency risk management. • System-Level Impacts: longer-term changes to which the Service may contribute but which cannot be attributed solely to the Provider, including reduced repeat victimisation, reduced serious harm, reduced repeat police contact and a stronger local response to stalking.

This notice is to inform that pre-market engagement has already occurred and is not opening an opportunity for further engagement. An informal conversation took place with a potential supplier to better understand whether the proposed work was feasible. We wanted to assess potential scale of the requirement, gain a better understanding of the possible delivery options, and establish what types of support were available. This informal engagement was exploratory and intended solely to inform our approach. No commercial discussion took place.

The Met Office wishes to investigate a new approach to cyber and physical security awareness training. The new approach aims to provide staff with a solid security awareness induction, regular basic awareness and refresher training on core and emerging topics, and role-specific advanced security awareness for specialist roles such as developers, engineers, privileged users, help desk and executives. The training and awareness programme may incorporate curated learning pathways/courses, regular bitesized training, and ad hoc browsable content. It should offer a range of content styles to suit different learning preferences and accessibility needs.
