Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is undertaking early market engagement in relation to the potential future delivery of Protective Security Services across the Trust. The purpose of this exercise is to understand the current market, available service delivery models, supplier capability and indicative costs. Information received will be used to inform the development of a business case and the Trust's consideration of future service delivery options. This exercise is not a call for competition, tender or commitment to procure. Participation will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in any future procurement process. Any future procurement would be undertaken separately in accordance with the Trust's applicable procurement obligations. At this stage, the Trust is particularly interested in obtaining indicative market costs for delivering a comprehensive, resilient 24/7 security service within an acute healthcare environment.

NHS North East North Cumbria Integrated Care Board is undertaking market engagement in relation to the future provision of a Mental Health Secure Patient Transport Service across the North East and North Cumbria Region. NENC ICB is hosting an information session for providers interested in the future delivery of Mental Health Secure Patient Transport Services across the North East and North Cumbria at 3:00pm on Monday 07 September. The session will provide an overview of a number of potential service delivery models currently being explored and explain how local framework arrangements could potentially be applied to support service delivery across the region. Following the market engagement session, NENC ICB will issue a Request for Information (RFI) on Tuesday 08 September 2026. The purpose of the RFI is to gather feedback and gain a better understanding of the operational, commercial and contractual considerations associated with the proposed service models, together with alternative approaches, refinements or innovations that providers may wish to suggest.

Lot 4: Access Control: This Lot covers the supply, installation, maintenance, and support of door entry systems, electronic access solutions, credential management, and associated security technologies. Lot 5: Supply and Monitoring of Lone Working / Staff Call Solutions: This Lot covers the supply, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support of personal safety devices, panic alarms, location based alerting technologies, and associated software platforms. Lot 6: Security Products: This Lot covers the provision of security equipment to support the delivery of an in-house security service provision. Lot 7: Consultancy Services, Security Design, and Assessment: This Lot covers strategic security consultancy, risk and vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, security system design, compliance reviews, and specialist advisory services.
