TPT519 - Asset Management / Maintenance of Station Information & Security Systems (SISS)
TransPennine Trains Limited (TPT) is seeking to procure a supplier for the provision of Station Information and Security Systems (SISS) maintenance and asset management services across its station network. The contract will cover approximately 3,800 SISS assets across 19 stations in the North of England, including Customer Information Systems, CCTV, public address systems, passenger help points and all associated telecommunications, network infrastructure, power supplies and supporting equipment forming the SISS estate.
The scope includes delivery of a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance regime and responsive reactive maintenance services to ensure asset availability and performance in line with defined service levels. The supplier will be responsible for operating a service management and helpdesk function, maintaining a robust asset management system and undertaking full asset verification in the first year, followed by ongoing management of an accurate asset database.
Services will be delivered across a varied station portfolio, requiring the ability to prioritise faults based on operational impact and work safely within a live railway environment, including undertaking activities on or near the line where required. The supplier will also support asset lifecycle management, including interfacing with enhancement schemes such as the Transpennine Route Upgrade and other third‐party projects, and delivering minor works including small‐scale renewals, enhancements and asset modifications.
The contract requires a technologically capable supplier able to support remote monitoring and a proactive maintenance approach to improve reliability and performance. Delivery will be monitored through defined service levels, reporting requirements and structured governance arrangements. The contract is intended to provide a high‐availability, safety‐critical maintenance service supporting operational performance, passenger experience and long‐term management of SISS assets.
HMCTS Provision of Facilities Management and Security Services
His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is in the early stages of reviewing its current Facilities Management (FM) and Security provision across its estate. This notice is published for transparency purposes in accordance with the Procurement Act (2023) and does not constitute the commencement of a procurement.
HMCTS is responsible for approximately 340 locations throughout England, Wales and certain sites in Scotland. FM and Security arrangements are currently delivered through two national contracts.
Current FM provision includes a range of Hard FM and Soft FM services. Hard FM services include, but are not limited to, statutory and mandatory compliance, projects, planned and reactive maintenance, building fabric maintenance, mechanical, electrical & plumbing (MEP). Soft FM services include, but are not limited to, FM support services, grounds maintenance and landscaping including gritting, routine and reactive cleaning services, window cleaning, pest control and general waste and recycling services.
Security provision includes, but is not limited to, guarding, reactive ad hoc guarding, out of hours alarm response and management of search equipment.
The project aims to ensure that critical FM and Security support arrangements are put in place so that services continue beyond the expiry of the current contracts in April 2029.

The Government Property Agency (GPA) currently procures planned and reactive maintenance services for technical security assets in secure spaces, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

We are seeking input from capable suppliers to assess market interest, capability, and capacity to deliver solutions aligned with regulatory, operational, and security requirements within critical national infrastructure (CNI).

1. Scope of Interest

• Experience delivering projects within regulated or critical infrastructure environments (preferably water or utilities)
• Accreditation of installation practices (e.g. NSI Gold/Silver, ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
• Ability to comply with UK regulatory and security frameworks, including requirements relevant to water sector resilience and asset protection
Area 3: Support and Maintenance Services
Provision of ongoing operational support services including:
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Monitoring and system management (local or remote)
• Lifecycle management and upgrades
• Helpdesk and response services
Suppliers should outline:
• Service models and SLAs available
• Geographic coverage across the UK
