Hull City Council (the Authority) is seeking tenders from suitable and qualified bidders for the provision of security and stewarding services to the Authority and its associated organisations. The Authority has a corporate wide requirement to provide security services to support and protect its assets, workforce, tenants and public. The procurement will be a competitive flexible procedure consisting of two stages. The procurement will be split into two lots. Lot 1 - Security and Steward for Events and Lot 2 - Security for Property and Buildings. Total estimated annual contract value for Lot 1 is £350,000.00. Total estimated annual contract value for Lot 2 is £450,000.00. Estimated contract(s) start date January 2027. The estimated value is given in good faith to assist tenderers in making their submissions, it should not be interpreted as an undertaking to purchase any goods, services or works to any particular value by the Authority and does not form part of the Contract. Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is undertaking early market engagement in relation to the potential future delivery of Protective Security Services across the Trust. The purpose of this exercise is to understand the current market, available service delivery models, supplier capability and indicative costs. Information received will be used to inform the development of a business case and the Trust's consideration of future service delivery options. This exercise is not a call for competition, tender or commitment to procure. Participation will not provide any advantage or disadvantage in any future procurement process. Any future procurement would be undertaken separately in accordance with the Trust's applicable procurement obligations. At this stage, the Trust is particularly interested in obtaining indicative market costs for delivering a comprehensive, resilient 24/7 security service within an acute healthcare environment.

Northern Trains Limited (NTL) and TransPennine Express (TPE) intends to go to market for the procurement of Security Services across their respective estates. The proposed procurement seeks to procure a single supplier to deliver an integrated rail security service across the NTL and TPE networks, combining Travel Safe Officer (TSO), Station Security and Counter Terrorism Patrol (CTP) services. The overarching objective is to enhance the safety and security of customers and colleagues, reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, support compliance with railway and government security requirements, and provide a visible, customer focused security presence across stations and onboard services. The successful supplier will deliver a comprehensive security solution across a portfolio of managed stations and operational locations, providing proactive patrols, incident response, enforcement of Railway Byelaws, safeguarding support, and intelligence led security activity. The service will include dedicated Travel Safe Officers undertaking both station and train patrols, alongside specialist Counter Terrorism Patrol resources focused on protective security measures, threat deterrence and compliance with rail security obligations. A key requirement of the contract will be the ability to provide a flexible and responsive service model that can adapt to changing operational priorities across both operators. The supplier will be expected to support emerging security concerns, targeted interventions, seasonal demand changes, major incidents, rail disruption, special events and ad hoc operational requirements. In addition to frontline delivery, the supplier will provide all associated management, supervision, training, vehicles, uniforms, equipment, body-worn video, reporting systems and operational support required to deliver the service. The supplier will work collaboratively with NTL, TPE, the British Transport Police and other stakeholders to develop deployment plans and ensure security activities remain aligned to evolving risks and business needs throughout the contract term. Performance will be managed through a suite of key performance indicators covering operational delivery, resource availability, patrol completion, incident management, compliance, customer service and reporting. A strong emphasis will be placed on partnership working, continuous improvement, data-driven decision making and the ability to proactively identify and respond to emerging risks and opportunities for service enhancement. The procurement aims to establish a security partnership that delivers a safe, secure and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues while supporting the wider safety, security and customer experience objectives of both NTL and TPE.

The aim of the project is to design a new solution that will replace our current Security Services (NOE.0571) framework agreement (expiry 08/06/2027) and cover an enhanced specialised scope.

Procurement Description: To service and maintain all systems that cover 3 sites in Leeds and 1 at Fort Nelson. For Leeds and the Fort, this covers security access management intruder systems. Fire detection, and alarm equipment are for 3 sites at Leeds only. To be managed to the highest operational standards, through a fully comprehensive planned preventative maintenance schedule in compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Regulations and industry standards. Ensure continuous monitoring and responsiveness through an approved system, such as Redcare or an equivalent monitoring service. Current scope •Fire systems (Leeds only) – fire alarm and detection systems, control panels, interfaces, detectors, call points, sounders, and associated equipment •Security systems (Leeds and Fort) – intruder alarms, access control systems, CCTV, door entry/intercom systems, monitoring connections, and associated hardware/software •Routine servicing and maintenance (both sites) in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations, statutory requirements, and relevant British Standards •Reactive maintenance and fault rectification (both sites) including replacement of defective components and restoration of systems to full working order •24/7 emergency call-out support (both sites) where required, with defined response times for critical system failures •Testing, certification, and compliance reporting (both sites) following maintenance visits and remedial works •Provision of maintenance records, asset information, and service reports (both sites) for each visit •Advice on lifecycle replacement, system upgrades, obsolescence, and compliance risks (both sites) •Liaison with monitoring providers (both sites) and support for alarm signalling services where applicable •Management of false alarms, recurring faults, and system performance issues (both sites) •Attendance at site meetings (both sites) where necessary to review performance, risks, and planned works The appointed contractor shall ensure that all services are delivered by competent, suitably qualified personnel, in compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, fire safety requirements, industry standards, and best practice. Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) is undertaking a market discovery exercise to better understand the availability and capability of security providers within the aviation sector. As part of this exercise, we invite expressions of interest from organisations with proven experience in delivering airport terminal security services. It is important to note that this is not a tender process, procurement exercise, or commitment to outsource security services. The purpose of this engagement is solely to gather information and assess market capability to help determine whether outsourcing terminal security provision may be a suitable option for DSA in the future. DSA is particularly interested in understanding the capability of providers who can demonstrate: Proven experience in delivering security services within regulated airport environments. A workforce comprised of personnel with established aviation security backgrounds. Knowledge of aviation security regulations, airport operations, and compliance requirements. Experience in access control, patrols, incident management, customer service, and terminal security operations. The ability to work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines, handling agents, and regulatory authorities. A key requirement is that all personnel proposed for deployment must have demonstrable aviation security experience, ensuring an understanding of the unique operational and security demands of the airport environment.
