The purpose of the procurement is to provide security services for the whole of the council including providing staff at council meetings, events, asset monitoring, evictions and locking and unlocking of buildings. Service must cover all times of the day including weekends and bank holidays.

The Council is seeking a contractor to provide Fire and Security Servicing for its Corporate buildings (8 sites). Fire: • Fire Alarms (annual servicing and reactive maintenance) • Fire Extinguishers (annual servicing and reactive maintenance) • Fire Risk Assessments (as required) Security: • Intruder alarms (annual servicing and reactive maintenance) • Monitoring of Intruder and fire alarms (by a monitoring station) • CCTV Systems (annual servicing and reactive maintenance)

The Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk intends to form a single supplier framework for provision of security services across King’s Lynn & West Norfolk. The services could include cover for events such as the ‘Summer events’ in King’s Lynn and Hunstanton & events/shows at The Corn Exchange in King’s Lynn.
