NHS Somerset Integrated Care board (ICB) is seeking to secure a Prime Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver a Digital Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service for Children and Young People. The Service will provide a digitally enabled emotional wellbeing and mental health support offer for children and young people in Somerset. The Service should contribute towards the outcomes outlined within this specification by improving access to timely emotional wellbeing support, supporting early intervention and prevention, reducing inequalities in access and experience, and helping children and young people access the right support at the right time. The Service should operate as part of Somerset's wider emotional wellbeing and mental health system and complement, rather than duplicate, existing statutory, education, community and voluntary sector provision. The Service should provide a safe, accessible and inclusive environment in which children and young people can access emotional wellbeing and mental health support, information, advice and guidance appropriate to their needs. The incumbent provider has stated that TUPE is not likely to apply. The contract term will be for 5 years with an optional extension of any period up to 2 years. The Commissioner has a maximum financial envelope available of £750,000 excluding VAT for the 5-year Contract. At the end of the initial contract term the Commissioner will have an extension option for any period up to a further 2 years available (£150,000 per annum) which will be awarded at their discretion, giving a maximum possible contract value of £1,050,000, exclusive of VAT, over 7 years if the full contract term is fulfilled. NHS Dorset is seeking a sole Supplier to deliver the Dorset Keyworker Service in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Place area. The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWAST) is seeking to establish a multi-supplier closed Framework Agreement for the provision of fuel storage infrastructure replacement and associated services across the Trust estate. Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHFT) is seeking to procure additional echocardiography capacity to address a significant backlog in diagnostic services. Current waiting times for echocardiograms exceed the national DM01 standard of six weeks. The Trust intends to establish a two-year call-off contract, with the option to extend for up to a further two years in two separate one-year increments (1+1), to support backlog reduction and improve timely patient access to services. The requirement is for the provision of community based short-term residential stays, providing care for those in a mental health crisis, as an alternative to hospital admission and to provide care following hospital discharge.

The development of a specialist all age mental health response via 111 is a key ambition of the NHS England Long Term Plan (2021-2024), and the recovery plan for urgent and emergency care priority for 2023/24. This required all calls for support during mental health crisis to be made via 111 by the end of March 2024 and is referred to as 111-2. Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust (AWP) currently deliver this service in partnership with a system partner. AWP will shortly be seeking a provider to deliver an integrated model for the NHS 111 Mental Health Crisis Response Service (111 Option 2) for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis across both adult (18 years and over) and children and young people (under 18 years) pathways. The appointed provider will be solely responsible for the delivery of the call handling element of the 111 Option 2 pathway, including access, triage and call management. AWP will retain responsibility for all clinical assessment activity and associated clinical decision-making and outcomes. The provider must be able to operate within a matrix management model, whereby all partners maintain responsibility for their own governance arrangements, professional standards and areas of specialist expertise, while working collaboratively at both strategic and operational leadership levels to deliver a seamless, integrated and high-quality service. Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust ("the Authority") would like to engage with potential suppliers to explore the provision of an offsite storage solution for pathology archive materials. The Trust currently manages a substantial archive of histology blocks and slides and requires a secure, compliant, and scalable storage solution to support ongoing service requirements and future archive growth. The service will include the storage, management, tracking, retrieval, and transportation of pathology materials in accordance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including Human Tissue Authority (HTA) standards where applicable. Current archive volumes are approximately: - 63,463 histology blocks and slides currently held in archive - 130,000 histology blocks generated annually - 180,000 histology slides generated annually This Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise aims to understand the market's capacity, capability, and interest in providing these services. The purpose of this preliminary market engagement is to improve NHSBT's understanding of the current market, available products, supply chain capabilities, packaging options, quality standards, innovation opportunities, and market capacity ahead of a potential future procurement exercise. The requirement is expected to include sterile, pyrogen-free DMSO with a minimum purity of 99.9%, supplied in a range of formats including vials, bottles, bags and/or syringes suitable for use within NHSBT Cellular and Molecular Therapies laboratories.
