Provide a standardised staff psychological service in all its elements across the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS). This includes providing advice to the Trust and managers to reduce the occurrence and length of absence through timely and appropriate advice. Standardising the reporting which includes providing factual and balanced recommendations and provision of management information. Provide this service for over a 52-week period per year. Appointments will be a mix of face-to-face sessions via the telephone. Provide therapy support for workplace-related mental health difficulties within a 6-session model, and for complex workplace trauma-related presentations within a 12-session model. Any extensions to this provision will be in be highly exceptional cases and should only be applied following approval from the Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service for NEAS. Following receipt of a referral, NEAS should receive a response from the Supplier within five working days and an appointment within ten working days. An assessment report to be sent following the first session and then a discharge report at the end of treatment. Support easily accessible high-quality services for staff employed within the full Trust geographical settings, considering the shift work undertaken by some colleagues. Support is cost effective and efficient provision of service that will support the health and wellbeing of Trust staff.

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust have a requirement for the provision of Darlington Crisis House (Non-clinical service). Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) provide a range of inpatient and community mental health and learning disability services for approximately 2 million people of all ages across a large geographical area. Durham and Darlington (D&D) Adult Mental Health (AMH) crisis services would like to welcome bids from organisations to work in collaboration with the D&D Crisis and Intensive home treatment teams to create a new non-clinical service which provides support and intervention for people who experiencing a crisis. To ensure risk is managed appropriately and any immediate clinical needs are met, the new service will receive referrals from the Urgent Care Crisis service. The Trust operates across two large acute sites and several non-acute sites, serving the population of County Durham and Darlington. There is no volume commitment as part of this contract and the demand from the Trust may vary overtime dependent on in house reporting capacity. However, the supplier would hold an exclusive contract for the out of hours provision to maintain continuity on the basis that the supplier can meet the turnaround time outlined by the Trust. However, for all other reporting, the Trust will be able to use alternative suppliers if desired. As demand fluctuates, the supplier must be able to adapt to high and low demands for reporting services. NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (NENC ICB) will be running a tender for management/maintenance of an existing Agilio TeamNet clinical portal, specifically, a service for the clinical support information and pathway implementation for the North Area Integrated Care Partnership. The Integrated Care Systems (ICS) clinical conditions strategy requires networks and workstreams to support the delivery of high-quality care. Their work will include use of nationally recognised best practice guidance and the tools to enable all parts of the NENC ICB to provide high quality care. Guidance and pathways need to be collated, reviewed and adopted across the region, with access enabled across the system for all clinicians to enable the right care to be given at the right time in the right place. The NHSBSA invites you to participate in Pre Market Engagement exercise through this Request for Information (RFI) for the provision of a Card IVR Solution to enable the collection of card payments from citizens and which integrates with main telephony system and GBS Card Merchant Worldpay and Gov UK Pay. The solution will be used for services such as PPC, PECS / DECS (Loss Recovery Services) as well as NHS Student Bursaries / Social Work Student and ad hoc finance needs.  The NHSBSA is seeking information from suppliers that can provide card payment solutions via card IVR channels, including capabilities, service models, implementation approaches, security standards, accessibility features, reporting functionality, and indicative commercial considerations. The Trust aims to ensure the existing on-site energy centre is used as efficiently and effectively as possible in a manner that reduces energy costs and carbon emissions. The Trust is therefore seeking to install a battery storage and solar PV solution at Wansbeck General Hospital with the following requirements: - A containerised, modular system fort he Battery Storage capable of relocation and expansion, if required. - A cost model whereby the Trust makes no capital investment and pays no ongoing servicing/operational costs and the Trust is paid a fixed percentage of the savings or a flat annual fee. - Integration with the Trust’s HV network and any future renewables. - Measurement and verification services to demonstrate performance of the installed solution and the associated savings achieved.

The purpose is to test feasibility, capability, assurance needs, delivery complexity, indicative cost and market appetite for an AI-enabled overlay to the existing telephony environment. The engagement will also help NEAS identify requirements that should inform a future complete telephony replacement aligned with emerging national standards and design. The evidence may support an options appraisal, business case, pilot proposal or future procurement strategy, but none is guaranteed.

Fresh and Balance is the North East's integrated programme for reducing tobacco and alcohol harm in the region. They are one single joint programme carrying out much of the public and partner facing work under the two separate, well recognised brands of Fresh and Balance. Fresh and Balance remit is to reduce smoking rates and the harm caused by tobacco and alcohol amongst the local population and key audiences using a multi-strand approach based on best national and international evidence. This includes mass media campaigns, campaigning and advocacy, effective internal communications, and making voices heard on the national stage to politicians and decision makers. A key element of their work and priority of local funders is the delivery of all year round news and social media reach/engagement to ensure issues and messages in the public eye all year round on the channels that people see, read and hear, providing a highly cost effective return on investment. This also involves working with a range of senior stakeholders for messengers and champions, building support for measures to reduce smoking and harmful drinking, motivating and triggering behaviour change, and engaging and motivating key partners to prioritise these agendas regionally and nationally. Communications cover three main strands: • Behaviour change - highlighting the risks and signposting positive behaviour change around quitting smoking, reducing second hand smoke and reducing drinking - via campaigns, socials and two key websites FreshQuit.co.uk and ReduceMyRisk.tv. • Highlighting the harm - the cost of tobacco and alcohol across the region and nationally to motivate regional stakeholders and the public • Campaigning for change - a strong policy focus to call for more action nationally on tobacco and alcohol, increasing public and partner support for this. This also includes an increasing focus on building partnerships across the health system, local communities and community and voluntary sector. Fresh and Balance are looking for a PR agency with the experience, skills and knowledge to develop communications across the increasing range of available media channels to secure content - both traditional and online. Since we are a joint programme, this will be one contract serving both campaign brands, while still requiring the insight and experience in social marketing approaches to plan campaigns and approaches around both tobacco and alcohol. The successful agency will be expected to provide PR support to support the programme from 1st April 2027 with the potential for contract extensions and subject to satisfactory performance and reviews and funding.

NHS North East North Cumbria Integrated Care Board is undertaking market engagement in relation to the future provision of a Mental Health Secure Patient Transport Service across the North East and North Cumbria Region. NENC ICB is hosting an information session for providers interested in the future delivery of Mental Health Secure Patient Transport Services across the North East and North Cumbria at 3:00pm on Monday 07 September.
