NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) are seeking to commission a Longer Term Therapeutic Treatment Service for Children and Young People Who Are Survivors of Sexual Abuse.

North Northamptonshire Council is seeking to procure a Point of Care Testing (POCT) solution to support delivery of the NHS Health Checks programme from 1 April 2027. The requirement includes POCT analysers, consumables, maintenance, repair and replacement arrangements, quality assurance, training, technical support and account management. POCT enables trained NHS Health Checks providers to obtain cholesterol and HbA1c results during the health check appointment, supporting immediate risk assessment, patient discussion and appropriate follow-up. Further review has confirmed that the current screening-based POCT model remains clinically appropriate and proportionate for the NHS Health Checks pathway. The current contract expires on 31st March 2027. The Council's analyser estate is ageing, with a significant proportion of devices expected to require replacement during the new contract period. Contract management concerns have also been identified in relation to asset tracking and external quality control oversight. The proposed procurement will therefore secure a comprehensive and clearly managed POCT contract, reducing fragmentation and strengthening quality assurance, lifecycle management and Council oversight.

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS) intends to establish a Dynamic Market for the provision of Taxi Support Services to East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Whilst EMAS undertakes the vast majority of journeys via in-house team, there is a need for extra demand in the system to cover NEPTS journeys for the Trust. The intention is to setup a Dynamic Market with separate lots, for taxi providers providing necessary service within that area. This will include transporting of patients to and from hospital for routine appointments, short term adhoc journeys, and other journeys may be required. University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN), which consists of Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) and Northampton General Hospital (NGH),  are seeking to engage the market in advance of a forthcoming tender opportunity for the provision of refurbishment works to upgrade an existing data centre.   It is intended that the procurement will cover the design, supply and delivery of refurbishment works to upgrade its secondary data centre known as DC2/P55 at Kettering General Hospital.   The purpose of this early market engagement is to gather insights from potential suppliers to help inform the scope, structure, and approach of the procurement to ensure it meets the needs of the organisation and delivers best value.    To obtain the required level of resilience the DC2/ P55 data centre needs to be brought up to an IT Industry standard Tier 2 data centre. This is to be achieved by addressing the mechanical and engineering infrastructure which provide services to the data centre combined with a review of the overall design / layout of the room and provision of new, standardised racks, cable containment, etc. This is intended to reduce the risk of future outages, ensure the room is running efficiently, has some spare capacity (space, power, cooling, etc.) for future expansion and is able to run as a single entity during the migration of IT equipment / Infrastructure out of the current primary data centre DC1. The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Client) is conducting this Preliminary Market Engagement exercise in connection with the competitive procurement of Servicing and Maintenance of the Laundry Production Equipment at Nottingham City Hospital (The service). The purpose of the service is to reduce the likelihood of costly breakdown, ensure high quality wash results, optimize the Client’s chemical usage and increase the life of the equipment, mitigating the requirement to purchase new assets due to lack of maintenance. Laundry production and, subsequently, the Client's organisation would be adversely affected in the event of any prolonged downtime. Therefore, an engineer must be available on site at any time the laundry is operating. Even a minor issue, such as a machine tripping out, resulting in equipment out of action, would then have a knock-on effect with volume of fresh linen available to the Client's wards, for example. Therefore, a Contractor is to deliver full on site engineering services to cover planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance. The objective is to ensure the Laundry Production Equipment is supported by qualified engineers and is fit for the purpose of enabling the Client’s staff to operate the equipment safely, efficiently and reliably. The Contractor will be required to utilize the Client's digital planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system to provide the service.
