Transport for London (TfL) requires responses from relevant industry bodies to run a five year Concessionaire contract for the expansion and Business as Usual (BAU) communications function of the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) programme. CLOCS a construction industry-led programme which aims to improve road safety across construction supply chains with a focus on reducing collisions between heavy and large goods vehicles and vulnerable road users.
The supplier will act as secretariat for the quarterly CLOCS Board, working group and sub-group meetings, conducting all administrative requirements including communications, invitations, agendas, compiling presentation slides, papers, facilitation (as required), notes and minutes. Administrative arrangements will include the sourcing of a venue, or arranging relevant online facilities, refreshments and catering. A suitable representative will be appointed chair of the working groups through a fair selection process agreed with the working group.
The industry-led working group is comprised of a range of construction, logistics and safety organisations. It has been established to provide a clear understanding of current and upcoming industry good practice. Good practice includes vehicle design and technology, operational constraints and capabilities, driver training and development, construction logistics plans and site standard.

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the “Council”) is issuing this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) Notice to inform the market of its intention to procure 8 no. Major Works contracts that will support the delivery of the Council’s 10-year Capital Investment Programme.
The purpose of this Prior Market Engagement is to provide advance notice of the Council’s proposed procurement and to inform interested parties of a forthcoming launch event for the anticipated procurement process.
The launch event will provide the following information:

Overview
The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) is an intergovernmental research institute with its headquarters in Shinfield (UK), and sites in Bonn (Germany) and Bologna (Italy), and contributes to major European programmes including Copernicus (the Earth observation component of the European Union's Space Programme) and Horizon Europe (EU's flagship research and innovation programme).
The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology are funding and constructing a new net zero headquarters for ECMWF at the University of Reading's Whiteknights campus, with construction expected to complete between December 2026 and March 2027.
As part of the project’s objectives, the building will need to meet the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard. To ensure this objective is met, DSIT are undertaking a procurement exercise to secure a supplier to support carbon offsetting objectives for the embodied carbon of the newly constructed headquarters.
Key requirements for this procurement:
• DSIT are looking to offset approximately 5165 tonnes of carbon (or equivalent green house gasses), as a one-off procurement via a broker to balance out embodied emissions as a result of the construction.
• The allocated budget for this procurement is up to £2,500,000 inc VAT where applicable.
