The key aims of the tender are to:
Provide a high standard of cleaning.
Deliver the cleaning services with consistency - good quality assurance systems in place.
Good communication at local and Operations Manager level with the school's - two-way communication
Daily interaction with the School Business Manager
Develop an effective method of handing over any special needs and comments on a daily basis.
Cleaners to work the hours that best suit the needs of the site and maximise the work completed.
Training and development of the teams
This does not imply that this is not happening now - these are the aims of the contract.
The Trust works to provide the students with the very best experiences they can. The quality of the environment in which they all work together is very important.
The cleanliness and good order of the classrooms, corridors and other areas of the school's impacts upon the teaching and learning. The Trust's expectations are high, and they are looking for a cleaning Contractor who has the same aims and aspirations.
The Trust does seek value for money but that does not mean they will choose the cheapest quote possible. They are seeking a partner who will be willing to undertake extra work and be flexible in approach when dealing with certain key events throughout the school year.

Cornerstone Housing is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced organisations who can provide grounds maintenance and communal cleaning, window cleaning and gutter clearing services for a 3+1+1 year contract. Cornerstone Housing is a charitable housing association providing affordable homes and housing related services across the Southwest of England. Please note this procurement is being run as a Competitive Flexible procedure under the PA2023.
Coastline Housing Ltd is engaging the market to find suitably qualified and experiences contractors to assist Coastline Housing Limited in the undertaking of their duties to provide responsive and comprehensive drain cleansing and associated drain maintenance services.
These services include: -
1. Clearance of internal blockages out-of-hours
2. Clearance of external blockages in and out of hours
3. Emergency response to flooding (internal and external), foulwater overspill, collapsed drains, and blockages affecting sole toilets within properties
4. High-Pressure Jetting to cleanse foul and surface water drains including drains, gullies, inspection chambers, pipework, channels, and catchpits
5. Provision of combination unit (Jet-vac) to remove and transport waste e.g., silt & sludge from site and production of waste transfer documentation
6. Inspection of drains via CCTV survey and production of survey reports and video files The successful contractor will be expected to comply with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and waste management regulations and provide appropriately trained operatives to service the contract.
Cleaning and Caretaking Services Framework 2027 Preliminary Market Engagement
Gloucestershire County Council is undertaking Preliminary Market Engagement in advance of the procurement of a new Cleaning and Caretaking Services Framework. The proposed Framework will provide cleaning and caretaking services across the Council's corporate estate, participating schools and, where appropriate, other eligible public sector organisations within Gloucestershire. The purpose of this engagement is to obtain market feedback to help inform the procurement strategy, framework structure, lotting approach, mobilisation requirements, contract management arrangements and future tender documentation. The Framework is currently expected to include six geographical lots covering Tewkesbury and North Cotswolds, South Cotswolds, Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud, with a planned commencement date of February 2028.
