YW is undertaking early market engagement to inform the potential procurement of electric-powered plant equipment under 3 tonnes, specifically site dumpers and mini excavators. YW is seeking to understand market capability, availability, performance, and commercial models for low/zero-emission plant equipment to support its operational and sustainability objectives.

YW is undertaking early market engagement to explore the provision of services supporting biodiversity and habitat delivery across its landholdings. This includes habitat creation, long-term maintenance and management in line with Habitat Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMPs), Responsible Body services, and ecological baseline assessment and HMMP preparation. The engagement aims to inform future procurement strategy, delivery models, and market capability for Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements.

The objective of this Procurement Process is to establish an Open Framework Agreement for the provision of Ventilation Design & Build services to Yorkshire Water's Capital Delivery team for an initial term of four (4) years. This Open Framework Agreement is intended to be the nominated route for Yorkshire Water to procure capital ventilation works and associated services throughout the duration of the agreement. The framework may be reopened during its term in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 to allow additional suppliers to apply for appointment to the framework. Successful suppliers appointed to the Framework will work alongside Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) in the delivery of capital ventilation projects across operational clean water and wastewater sites. Scope: The provision of ventilation systems and associated capital works, including: • Full design, supply and installation of new ventilation systems • Refurbishment, replacement and upgrades of existing ventilation systems • Turnkey solutions including design, construction, installation and commissioning • Odour control and hazardous area ventilation solutions • Mechanical and electrical integration works associated with ventilation systems • Testing, commissioning, performance verification and handover • Associated decommissioning and replacement of ventilation assets The scope relates to process ventilation systems used within operational and hazardous environments and is not limited to general building ventilation (HVAC). This may include ventilation systems associated with treatment processes, chemical dosing, sludge handling, odour control and confined space environments. Lot 1. Yorkshire Water Services Limited is seeking to appoint a strategic supplier to deliver a fully managed Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and associated managed network security service across its operational estate (242 sites). YWS intends for the selected supplier to replace the legacy WAN architecture and provide the following key services: • SD-WAN overlay platform providing intelligent traffic routing, encryption, and centralised policy management • WAN Edge devices to provide secure internet breakout at each site • Internet circuits replacing the existing MPLS estate • Secure connectivity to cloud services (Microsoft Azure) and site-to-site networks, and Zscaler technologies • Integrated firewall capability supporting IT/OT network segmentation • Centralised management portal with enhanced reporting and capacity planning capabilities Please refer to the attachments for further details on the scope of services

Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) intends to establish a contract for the maintenance, calibration, inspection, repair, and lifecycle support of fixed gas detection systems across operational wastewater and clean water sites. The contract will provide a comprehensive service model covering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive and emergency maintenance, calibration and compliance activities, supply and replacement of sensors, spare parts, and associated components, as well as replacement of fixed gas detection assets where required. The arrangement will support the ongoing operation of safety-critical gas detection systems, including detectors, sensors, alarms and controllers.

Yorkshire Water Services (YWS) intends to establish a structured, multi-supplier Reactive Operational Support Framework to support operational sites across the Yorkshire Water estate. The framework will provide access to reactive operational support services during unplanned operational scenarios, temporary operational shortfalls, and emergency requirements. The scope will include equipment hire, skilled and unskilled labour provision, and fuel supply to support operational continuity and site resilience. The arrangement is intended to provide operational flexibility, improve governance and visibility of reactive support spend, and establish a consistent approach to reactive operational support across Yorkshire Water sites.
