Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) is undertaking a Preliminary Market Engagement exercise with suppliers who can provide mould identification surveys, diagnostic investigations, reporting, and associated remedial works across its residential housing portfolio. The purpose of this engagement is to understand current market capabilities, solutions, service delivery models, and innovations that can support the effective identification, treatment, and prevention of damp and mould in both tenanted and void properties. Feedback received will help inform the scope and procurement strategy for a future contract opportunity.

WCHG is seeking an experienced supplier to support the collection and verification of customer data across a minimum of 5,000 households, with the potential for further surveys and re-contact activity. The supplier must deliver inclusive and empathetic customer engagement, achieve strong response rates (targeting over 60%), provide translation and safeguarding support, and ensure high standards of data quality, security, governance, auditability and reporting. The solution should be scalable to meet future requirements and support WCHG in improving services and achieving equitable outcomes for residents. The indicative contract duration is 12 months, from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027
