Framework Overview NWSSP Procurement Services is seeking to establish a multi supplier framework agreement to meet the national requirements of NHS Wales for orthopaedic, joint replacement, trauma and extremity products. The framework will provide all participating NHS organisations with access to a consistent, standardised and compliant procurement solution. Exclusions Spinal products are expressly excluded from the scope of this framework agreement. Participating Organisations NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust) is conducting this procurement on behalf of the following NHS Wales organisations: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Hywel Dda University Health Board Powys Teaching Health Board Swansea Bay University Health Board Velindre University Health Board Future Participation NWSSP Procurement Services reserves the right to include additional NHS Wales organisations within the scope of the framework agreement at any time during its term. Any such additions will be made following consultation with all appointed framework suppliers.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) is undertaking preliminary market engagement to inform the future procurement of Community Equipment. Community equipment encompasses a broad range of items designed to support individuals living at home. This includes equipment for nursing care, such as commodes, as well as aids for daily living, including shower chairs, raised toilet seats, hoists, and community profile beds. It also covers minor adaptions, such as grab rails and ramps. Community equipment services are currently delivered through partnerships between local health boards and local authorities. Most equipment is managed via community equipment stores, which are responsible for the delivery, collection, refurbishment and maintenance of items. The purpose of this engagement is to obtain market intelligence, understand supplier capabilities, explore potential solutions, identify innovative approaches, and assess market capacity prior to commencing a formal procurement process. NWSSP is seeking feedback from suppliers with experience in delivering [brief description of goods/services]. Engagement activities may include supplier questionnaires, one-to-one discussions, demonstrations, workshops, or market engagement events.
