NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Laundry Service requires fire stopping remediation works at its Swansea and North Wales Laundry Production Units. The works are required to reinstate fire compartmentation integrity where breaches have been identified through survey activity. The successful contractor will provide all labour, materials, equipment, testing, certification, documentation and warranties necessary to complete the fire stopping works. Works will include sealing service penetrations, linear joints, voids and cavities using appropriately tested and third-party certified systems. Full certification, photographic evidence and fire stopping registers will be required upon completion.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) has an ongoing requirement for the provision of fully managed commercial storage facilities and associated distribution services for medical consumables, primarily pandemic Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) resilience stock.

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP), hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, are issuing this Market Engagement Notice to engage with the suppliers to gather feedback on market capabilities and capacity for the provision of managed services to support the operation of a finance, procurement and warehouse management system. The Central Team eBusiness Services (CTeS), within NWSSP, manage and supervise several core national enterprise systems which are used by Health Boards, Trusts, Special Heath Authorities, and Hosted Organisations, in Wales. These systems are collectively known as the FMS Enterprise System and include: - An e-Business Application System, including auxiliary services, which is facilitated through the Oracle eBusiness suite. - A Business Intelligence (BI) reporting system, facilitated through Qlik Sense. - An OCR Intelligent Scanning Management System - A Warehouse Management System - Other BI Reporting Systems The purpose of this market engagement exercise is to gather greater insight into the market’s capacity and capabilities in relation to provision of managed services and NWSSP are specifically seeking engagement from suppliers who are e-Business Suite experts with supply chain capabilities specifically covering warehouse management and who can also support to roll out and further development of discrete manufacturing processes within a regulated environment. The analysis of feedback obtained from this exercise will allow NWSSP to further develop its strategy and refine its service delivery requirements ahead of any potential procurement. The main objectives of this exercise are to: - Assess the level of interest in the marketplace from suppliers who can support the Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS), - Test market capability and capacity, - Validate the proposed scope and service model, - Understand delivery approaches, innovations and commercial models and indicative rates, and - Explore development and innovation in relation to AI and the benefits that may be realised with its deployment through the Oracle eBusiness Suite. The provision of the Oracle EBS is facilitated through existing perpetual licences, and the scope of this engagement exercise does not include migrating the e-Business Application System to a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. This exercise is not a formal procurement process, does not constitute a call for competition and does not commit NHS Wales to any future procurement. However, information gathered through this engagement will help inform the development, scope and future direction of the project. NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (NWSSP ProcS), hosted by Velindre NHS Trust, invites tenders on behalf of NHS Bodies across Wales for the appointment of suitably qualified suppliers to provide Quality Control Organisms, Lysis Buffer, and Bottled Media (Culture Media) under an All-Wales Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement will have an initial duration from 1st January 2027 to end 31st August 2030, with an option to extend for a further two years, subject to a maximum total duration of five years and eight months. The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) requires the replacement of three rapid plasma / blast freezer units which are currently used for the rapid freezing of plasma components, including Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP), cryoprecipitate, and Plasma for Medicines (PFM) components. The contract will provide WBS with the capability and business continuity required to manufacture clinical plasma for patients in Wales. It will also support the plasma for medicines programme in Wales as it continues to grow and expand on current plasma volumes produced.

This is a contract for the provision of Generic Injections/Infusions Drugs

The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) is seeking to engage with the market regarding the future procurement of an advanced automated haematology analysis system to support blood donor assessment, blood component quality monitoring, research and innovation activities. The proposed solution will be required to provide automated full blood count (FBC) analysis, 5-part white cell differential capability and integrated reticulocyte analysis on the primary analyser. Of particular interest are systems capable of generating the data required to support emerging donor health assessment methodologies, including FlowScore calculation and reticulated haemoglobin analysis for the early detection of iron deficiency in blood donors. The future requirement is expected to include advanced analytical capabilities that support the unique operational needs of a blood establishment. These include fluorescence platelet counting with high accuracy at low platelet concentrations, reticulated platelet measurement, low-level white cell enumeration suitable for blood component quality monitoring, and the ability to perform blood component testing without the need for separate instrumentation. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate how their platforms support routine blood component quality control programmes through dedicated blood bank functionality and provide evidence of successful implementation within blood services, blood centres or comparable blood establishments. WBS is particularly interested in solutions that are supported by robust External Quality Assessment (EQA/EQAS) programmes and can demonstrate meaningful peer group benchmarking through sufficient participant numbers using the same analyser platform and methodology. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate compliance with applicable medical device regulations, support quality and regulatory requirements through a mature quality management system and provide resilient service and maintenance arrangements that minimise downtime and ensure continuity of critical testing services. This notice is intended to inform the market of WBS's future requirements and to encourage engagement from suppliers capable of supporting the evolving needs of blood donor care, blood component quality assurance and transfusion medicine research. Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) and Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB), collectively the South West Wales region (the Region), seek to appoint service providers to undertake Integrated Pest Management services across the respective health boards’ sites. The contract will support a diverse estate portfolio, including acute hospitals, community hospitals, mental health units, community clinics, kitchens, waste compounds, external grounds, plant rooms, and other high risk or specialist areas. Preventative and reactive cover will be required, with sites classified based on risk.
