This service specification applies to a 5 unit direct access accommodation for women and children who need a safe place to live as a result of having experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. Male children accompanying a victim who are over the age of 16 are unable to be accepted.
The aim of this service is to provide safe, secure, direct access to temporary accommodation in a confidential location in the Vale of Glamorgan. The service also offers support and information to women, in order to enable them to gain or maintain the skills and confidence they need to be able to live independently. The service will provide flexible housing related support to a maximum of 5 victims and their children in a temporary accommodation project. The provider will be expected to provide a flexible model of support which is tailored to meet individual needs. The service working with individual service users involves a tailored support plan that best meets their needs. The plan focuses on both practical and emotional issues, in order that each service user has the best opportunity of living independently as a member of their community.
The service will work with the service user to develop that person’s capacity to live independently in accommodation.

Mental Health Tenancy Support Service (TESS 5)
This service specification applies to a 50-unit housing related floating support service to be delivered for clients experiencing enduring mental health problems.
The aim of this project is to provide floating support for mental health clients by providing assistance to access information, advice, support and resources to enable them to make informed choices. The service will provide flexible housing related support to a minimum of 50 individuals. The provider will be expected to provide a flexible model of support which is tailored to meet individual needs. The service working with individual service users involves a tailored support plan that best meets their needs. The plan focuses on both practical and emotional issues, in order that each person has the best opportunity of living independently as a responsible member of their community.
The service will work with the service user to develop that person’s capacity to live independently in accommodation or sustain his/her ability to do so.
While service users will have a variety and individual intensity of need, there is an expectation that support services will over time be reduced as service users achieve higher levels of independence. Therefore, support provision must be needs led, outcome focused and time scaled.
The management of the property must not constrain the freedoms of the service user beyond those associated with the normal legal terms of occupancy agreements.
The support provider will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the services provided through the project.

The service will work with the service user to develop that person’s capacity to live independently in accommodation or sustain his/her ability to do so. While service users will have a variety and individual intensity of need, there is an expectation that support services will over time be reduced as service users achieve higher levels of independence. Therefore, support provision must be needs led, outcome focused and time scaled. The support provider will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of the services provided through the project.

The service working with individual service users involves a tailored support plan that best meets their needs. The service will work with the service user to develop that person’s capacity to live independently in accommodation or sustain his/her ability to do so. School Cleaning Contract for Ysgol Y Deri, Derw Newydd and Ysgol Llyn Derw
The Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement in relation to an upcoming cleaning services contract covering four school sites within Barry and Penarth.
Suppliers wishing to express an interest are invited to attend a group site visit on 24 August 2026.
Due to project timescales and site access restrictions, only group visits can be accommodated, individual site visits will not be available.
The purpose of the visit is to allow suppliers to gain a visual understanding of the sites and areas requiring cleaning services. No procurement discussions, specification clarification, pricing discussions or question-and-answer sessions will take place during the visits.
The tender opportunity is currently anticipated to be issued during September/October 2026.
Any questions in relation to this opportunity and or arising from the site visit must be submitted formally via Sell2Wales (www.sell2wales.gov.wales) by no later than 7th September 2026. Responses will be issued through the Sell2Wales, and will be made available to all interested bidders to ensure equal treatment and transparency.
Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory and participation or non-participation will not affect a supplier's ability to bid for the contract.
All parties wishing to attend must confirm attendance in advance via the Dialogue/Message function within Sell2Wales. Confirmation should include the attendee name(s) and company details.
