Trowbridge Town Council invites tenders from competent and qualified contractors for the provision of Legionella monitoring and testing across seven key council sites for an initial period of 3 years with the possibility to extend for a further 2 years. The Council is committed to ensuring the health and safety of residents, staff, and visitors by maintaining full compliance with ACOP L8 and HSG 274. The contract will cover the following sites: The Civic, Stephens Place, BA14 8AH Trowbridge Museum, The Shires, BA14 8AT Studley Green Community Centre, Lambrok Road, BA14 9HQ Trowbridge Cemetery, Downside View, BA14 7NN Walkers Yard, Trowbridge Park, BA14 7EF Longfield Community Centre, Weavers Drive BA14 7DZ Public Toilets, Trowbridge Park, BA14 8AH 2. Scope of Works The successful contractor will be required to provide a comprehensive water management service. Tenderers are asked to provide a schedule of temperature and legionella testing based on the attached risk assessments and asset lists. All remedial works included in the risk assessments will be completed separately. All work must be carried out in accordance with British Standard BS7592 and comply with ACOP L8 and HSG 274. 3. Asset List and Risk Assessments See appendix A for risk assessments and Asset list for each location 4. Site inspections Tenderers are invited to attend site visits on either the 15th or 17th April with an 8.30 start at the Civic Centre (Address above) please contact terrykawiti@trowbridge.gov.uk to book a space. Any Questions will be answered during the site visits. 5. Submission Requirements In line with standard Trowbridge Town Council procedures, tenderers must submit: A. Financial Cost Statement: Detailed breakdown of annual monitoring. B. Technical Proposal: Methodology for testing and electronic logbook management. C. Experience: Evidence of similar contracts with local authorities or public sector clients. D. Health & Safety: Example RAMS and proof of relevant qualifications (e.g., LCA membership). E. Insurance: Copies of Public and Employers' Liability insurance. 6. Scope of Works The successful contractor will Provide the service and frequencies of service as required by law and in line with the appended schedule of services and schedule of responses. Detail your hourly rates in the schedule of responses to breakdowns. Note that Fire and Intruder Alarm activation calls will require priority 1 responses Provide a maintenance service to ensure that no fire or intruder alarm will be in fault or out of commission for more than 8 hours or overnight. Provide costs for remedial works resulting from annual risk assessments and breakdowns. The costs for remedial works resulting from client-initiated changes will be financed by the Trowbridge Town Council All work must be carried out in accordance with the standards in Section 1 above. 3. System Replacement It is possible that one or more of the systems may undergo complete replacement during the period of the contract. The Trowbridge Town Council reserves the right to remove that system from the contract and request open competitive pricing for a fully comprehensive testing and maintenance service to that system. 4.
