NP0573 REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT SERVICES
Northumbria Police (the "Force") invites suppliers to participate in a Request for Information (RFI). This market engagement exercise is intended to assess the range of mental health support options currently available to support Northumbria Police Officers, Staff and Volunteers. We are seeking information from organisations that can provide timely mental health support when internal service demand exceeds capacity. The provider should be able to support individuals experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, including:
• Trauma-related presentations
• Significant life events impacting wellbeing and work performance
• Mental health conditions affecting attendance, performance, decision-making, relationships, or ability to fulfil role requirements
The Force intends to procure an agreement for the provision of Mental Health Support, to ensure staff are provided with appropriate support services. The outcome of the RFI process will help us determine our procurement strategy moving forward.
