The current Residential Children’s Placements light-touch pseudo DPS is scheduled to close on 31 March 2026.
An extension is required to allow sufficient time for the development and implementation of a new regional purchasing agreement that will encompass all 14 South-West local authorities. Given the scale and complexity of this collaborative project, it is anticipated that the new arrangement will take approximately two to three years to become fully operational.
This extension will ensure continuity and stability for all stakeholders involved.

South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) is looking to set-up a multi-supplier closed framework for the Hire of Vehicles and Plant Machinery without a Driver or Operator.
It is anticipated the Framework will be divided into Lots for the supply of:

• Lot 2: Welfare Units
• Lot 3: Specialist Grounds Equipment

South Gloucestershire Council wishes to employ local transport operators of registered bus and taxi services to provide socially necessary public transport and client services in South Gloucestershire. It is anticipated this will be an Open Framework operating for up to 8 years.
