Sheffield City Council would like to invite providers to an Extra Care Housing Market Engagement Event on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 10:0 am to 12:30 pm, at: Conference Rooms LG42 Sheffield Town Hall Pinstone Street Sheffield S1 2HH. The event will provide an overview of the proposed Extra Care Housing Service Model and an opportunity to discuss and assess the feasibility of a provider-led allocations and nominations process.

Design, supply and installation of a outdoor fitness facility within Norfolk Heritage Park.

Lot 1: A dedicated women’s supported housing service offering safe, self-contained, single-sex accommodation and trauma-informed support for women who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or rough sleeping. The service will focus on housing related support, independence and planned move-on. Lot 2: Supported housing for families who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness and who require accommodation and housing-related support to obtain, sustain and progress from accommodation. The Service will provide a flexible mix of dispersed and scheme-based accommodation, with trauma-informed, strengths-based support that promotes stability, independence and successful move-on into settled housing.

Sheffield City Council is seeking a provider to deliver the Sheffield Dementia Advice Service, a citywide, non-clinical service acting as the single point of access for dementia information, advice and guidance. The service will support people living with dementia, their families, unpaid carers and supporters through information, signposting, navigation and referral into community-based dementia support. The provider will also offer advice, guidance and training to professionals and volunteers to improve dementia awareness and build confidence in supporting people affected by dementia. The service plays a key role in promoting prevention, independence, wellbeing and dementia-friendly communities across Sheffield.

The Multiple Disadvantage and Housing Support Service, will work in a streamlined and holistic manner across the area of Sheffield. It will provide holistic and multi-faceted floating support to people who experience multiple disadvantage – officially defined as a co-morbidity of homelessness/housing insecurity, mental health needs, substance use, involvement with the criminal justice system and domestic abuse – often further compounded by additional factors such as trauma, poverty, discrimination and stigma. The integrated service will aim to prevent and tackle multiple disadvantage, whilst recognising the intersectionality and compounding impact of the areas of need outlined above. The service will build on local learning from the Changing Futures programme and aligns with the city’s strategy Coordination from Complexity (2025–2030), consultation findings, and the Alliance Commissioning Vision. It will provide a clear, equitable and trauma-informed offer across three pathways: (1) Young People aged 16–25 (2) Adults aged 25+ (3) Recovery and Co-production (all ages). This contract is being awarded as an alliance contract, which means the Council expects tender responses to be submitted on behalf of groups of suppliers that are able collectively to deliver the Services.
