This ITT has been issued by NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services (hosted by the Velindre NHS Trust) “NWSSP” on behalf of Public Health Wales who shall enter into the Agreement. You are being invited to tender under the open procedure conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. The Procurement will result in the award of a sole supplier contract (Agreement). Public Health Wales requires a suitable supplier to carry out remedial repairs to all fire doors at their Llys Castan site - Llys Castan Unit 10, Llys Castan, Parc Menai, Bangor, LL57 4FH. A site visit must be carried out before a tender is submitted. Within the tender pack the full report of remedials that were highlighted by a 3rd party contractor will be available.

PHW require a supplier to deliver external and internal building refurbishment works, including front and side elevation scaffolding, side render removal, masonry repairs and redecoration, rainwater goods clearance, and front timber window frame repairs and painting, to supply all labour, materials, access equipment, and management. The scope also covers full site safety, waste removal, weekly progress reporting, pre-tender site visits, and the submission of required programs, insurance, and health and safety accreditations.

Public Health Wales (PHW), require a secure, reliable, and cost-effective SMS messaging solution. The solution will primarily support appointment reminders, with additional functionality to enable short-notice notifications and wider operational communications for all screening participants across Wales.

The proposed contract includes the capital purchase of five 1200mm Class II microbiological safety cabinets (MSCs), and the relocation of one existing microbiological safety cabinet. The purchase includes decommission and disposal of existing units, and installation and commission of new units. The scope of the contract includes decontamination, removal, installation and commissioning, with a bulk procurement approach delivering cost efficiencies that would not be achievable through individual purchases.

NHS Wales Performance and Improvement (NHS P&I) are issuing this Market Engagement Notice to engage with suppliers to gather feedback to support the development of a Telehealth Adoption Framework for NHS Wales. For the purposes of this engagement, Telehealth encompasses the use of digital technologies to support prevention, self-management, remote monitoring, virtual care, proactive intervention and home-based models of care. This preliminary market engagement exercise seeks to improve understanding of current and emerging market capability, implementation experience and future innovation. Suppliers should note that this engagement is also intended to improve understanding of supplier readiness against current standards, guidance and assurance arrangements commonly adopted within NHS and public sector environments, together with future areas of strategic importance. This information will help inform future implementation guidance and procurement considerations but should not be interpreted as defining mandatory requirements for any future procurement activity. Information gathered will inform the Telehealth Adoption Framework for Wales and future implementation, adoption and procurement considerations. This exercise is not a formal procurement process, does not constitute a call for competition and does not commit NHS Wales to any future procurement. Suppliers are invited to provide information through a written submission and will have the opportunity to attend a structured engagement session which are scheduled for the 1st, 7th and 10th September 2026. Initially, 15 60-minutes sessions will be made available on a first come first served basis, however, at its sole discretion, NHS P&I may extend this opportunity beyond this dependant on the levels of interest from the marketplace (but this is not guaranteed). Public Health Wales (PHW) requires a safe, secure and reliable national postal collection and return service for the distribution of screening invitation letters, participant testing kits, and Health Protection kits. The service will involve the collection of items from designated PHW locations across Wales and allow for the return of participant completed kits to designated laboratories.
