Lot 1 - Robotic Process Automation Resourcing
The future supplier will be expected to provide an accredited Blue Prism Developer and a Business operational support function to support the design, development, administration, management and implementation of automation workflows and IT service enhancements within Post Office, ensuring efficient operations and scalability. It also involves maintaining and managing POL's estate of automations, ensuring they operate seamlessly while following industry-standard development life cycle management and administration management practices.
This includes providing augmented resource to support the POL Robotics team as well as operational support covering:
• Database maintenance including archiving
• Service account management
• Monitoring and alerts
• Incident management
• Patch management
• Application support
• Windows Infrastructure support
Lot 2 - ServiceNow Resourcing
Improve the quality, cost and agility when sourcing technical resource for the ServiceNow platforms. Establish a panel of suppliers with contracts, costs and KPIs pre agreed to enable business resourcing needs to be fulfilled at pace.
This requirement covers a number of overall scenarios
- Post Office Platform Team BAU Resource Augmentation - longer term needs
- Post Office Project Team Resource Augmentation
- Outcome based delivery
The contracting authority intends to undertake a procurement exercise for the provision of legal services.
The services are expected to comprise a range of advisory and representation services to support the authority's statutory, regulatory, operational and commercial functions. The precise scope of services may include, but is not limited to, general and specialist legal advice, transactional support, dispute resolution, and related legal services across multiple areas of law.
The authority is currently in the process of determining the detailed requirements, contracting structure and delivery model. This may include the establishment of one or more contracts, frameworks or panels, and may be divided into lots or otherwise structured as the authority considers appropriate.
The estimated timing, scope, structure and value of the procurement remain subject to internal consideration and may change.

Any future procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 and will be the subject of a separate notice.
Post Office is seeking a replacement service to be procured, which must have sufficient time for transition should a new supplier be selected; estimated at 18 months.
The scope of services "as is" consists of: Data Centre's, WAN Branch & Admin, Managed LAN Service, NNI, Cyber Security, Break Fix Management Information, Mobile devices etc.
Post Office is considering a strategy that covers today's business requirements for Branches and accommodates a future technology delivery model that is cheaper to run.
Marketing mix modelling including - Impact assessments, forecasting, optimisation of marketing mix and modelling options, other modelling and scenarios modelling and associated services
Managed service for the support, of POL's Colleague devices, peripheral devices and platforms. Plus, the Branch Counter Point of Sale (PoS) devices, peripheral devices, management solutions and Field Engineering services.
